MAPF Chapter 47
by BLReadsChapter 47: Pervert, Giving Him a Chance So Easily?
Xie Shiwei slept in the car. After returning home, he kept his promise and poured He Qin a glass of iced rose dew. After showering and getting into bed, he received a notification on his phone.
He Qin participated in the stray cat rescue program and bought enough cat food for thirty people.
The door to the home theater wasn’t closed, and there was some light seeping through.
Xie Shiwei rolled around in bed and shouted into the doorway, “Thank you, President He!” He received a “You’re welcome” reply from He Qin on WeChat.
.
The stray cat rescue program wasn’t over yet, but unfortunately, Qiao Mu said that Xie Shiwei and Qiao Lin were too handsome, and their joint appearance at the event would easily cause a stir, so they broke up their remaining two activity shifts.
Xie Shiwei regretfully accepted the arrangement and didn’t forget the villa party Xie Tian’an had arranged for him. On Friday, he invited everyone to go with him and He Qin for the weekend.
Cheers erupted in the office. Qiao Lin interjected, “Shiwei, I’m an unofficial member. Can I go too?”
“Of course.” Xie Shiwei smiled, “Private car service, just give me the address.”
.
Saturday morning, the weather was great.
Xie Shiwei was the first to get into the car that came to pick him up for the villa party. They detoured to the old city to pick up Amy and Qiu Chen, along with Qiao Mu and Qiao Lin. The five of them headed off first.
“Shiwei, is President He not coming?” Amy asked.
Xie Shiwei said, “He can’t come until tomorrow. He has to work today.”
“Wow, President He is working way too hard. No wonder he is the backbone of He Xin Technology.”
Xie Shiwei went along with Amy and praised He Qin a few times. Qiao Lin casually said, “President He is so busy with work; wouldn’t that mean he has no time for his family?”
Xie Shiwei didn’t care about that: “It’s alright, there’s not really anything at home that needs him to worry about.”
.
The villa party location was in a seaside resort. Detached villas were scattered on the coastal hills. There were beach volleyball courts, bathhouses, and yachting available.
Inside the villa, they could sing karaoke, swim, play all kinds of board games and card games. They could have an outdoor barbecue in the yard, and the resort hotel would deliver the food and ingredients.
At noon, everyone gathered for a hot pot meal. Qiao Lin sat next to Xie Shiwei, asking him what he liked to eat and what he disliked, thoughtfully putting food in his bowl.
Xie Shiwei’s heart fluttered again.
He liked gentle men who knew how to take care of people, and Qiao Lin knew very well how to gain his favor.
After lunch, they discussed their plans. They decided to play some indoor games in the afternoon when the weather was hot and have a barbecue on the beach in the evening, followed by karaoke to digest.
Amy, Qiu Chen, and Qiao Mu often teamed up to play poker, so they went straight to the card room, dragging Qiao Lin along.
Xie Shiwei said he didn’t like playing cards. After watching for a while, he found it too boring and yawned three times. He went out alone first.
Qiao Mu, Amy, and Qiu Chen were playing intensely and didn’t notice Xie Shiwei leaving. Only Qiao Lin saw him. He deliberately lost badly at the end of a round, and the other three complained about him. He took the opportunity to quit the game and went outside to find Xie Shiwei on the rooftop terrace.
The afternoon sun was strong. Xie Shiwei was lying lazily on a lounge chair with wired earbuds in his fair ears. His eyes were closed, and his bangs were occasionally blown up by the wind.
Qiao Lin had seen many handsome men and beautiful women, but few men were as beautiful as Xie Shiwei.
He didn’t want to miss out.
So, he walked over and lay down on the lounge chair next to Xie Shiwei, took out one of his earbuds, and asked with a smile if they could listen together.
Xie Shiwei opened his eyes, saw who it was, and generously agreed.
The earphone cord wasn’t long enough, so Qiao Lin moved his lounge chair closer, almost shoulder to shoulder with Xie Shiwei.
Xie Shiwei smelled the fresh scent of laundry detergent in the air.
He remembered a senior he had a crush on in high school, whose clothes also had this fragrance. He felt a little sentimental, turned his head, and glanced at Qiao Lin. Qiao Lin happened to turn his head as well.
Xie Shiwei’s eyes flickered, and he lay back down, closing his eyes.
Qiao Lin smiled and chatted with Xie Shiwei casually, probing Xie Shiwei’s thoughts about He Qin.
Finally, the people playing cards inside realized that Xie Shiwei and Qiao Lin had disappeared.
Qiu Chen gasped.
He Qin had told her to report Xie Shiwei’s situation to him in a timely manner.
She and Amy abandoned Qiao Mu and hurried out to find them. When they saw the scene of the two of them leaning intimately against each other on the terrace, they were scared out of their wits.
Qiu Chen told He Qin the situation, urging him to come quickly. Amy, on the other hand, went to interfere, ruining the atmosphere by moving a chair and lying down behind them, constantly asking Xie Shiwei when He Qin was coming, successfully driving Qiao Lin away.
.
In the evening, the group went to the beach for a barbecue, laughing and joking. The sunset was spectacular. Xie Shiwei casually took a photo and sent it to He Qin, telling him not to forget to look up at the sky while working.
But at this time, He Qin had already set aside his work and was on his way.
He was waiting at a red light at an intersection when he received Xie Shiwei’s message. He was in a good mood and casually freed the staff who were staying behind in the office, telling Lin Ying not to work overtime to organize the reports tonight.
The barbecue was very filling. The five of them drank several bottles of beer and were so full that they couldn’t move. They clamored to go back and show off their singing voices.
Xie Shiwei also drank a little wine and went back to the semi-open living room on the second floor of the villa to sing karaoke, feeling dizzy.
Qiao Lin had contacted the hotel staff in advance to send over drinks. Amy ordered many sad love songs and immediately handed the microphone to Xie Shiwei.
Xie Shiwei was pretty good at singing, unlike the original owner, who was tone-deaf. His singing voice was a bit hoarser than when he spoke, like a misty sound.
Holding the microphone, his slightly thin silhouette made him look inexplicably fragile and easy to control.
Qiao Lin swallowed and really wanted to hug him from behind.
Amy and Qiu Chen cheered and asked Little Xie to sing more. Xie Shiwei was in high spirits and sang five songs in a row. His throat was a bit sore, so he stopped with the support of the other four.
Amy and Qiu Chen immediately picked up the microphones and ran to the TV, singing and dancing to a very intense dance song, asking Qiao Mu to record them with his phone.
Only Qiao Lin and Xie Shiwei were left on the sofa in the corner.
Qiao Lin handed over a glass of low-alcohol fruit wine. Xie Shiwei didn’t want to drink it, but Qiao Lin said that this glass was his special blend, and the taste was good, asking Little Xie to do him the honor of tasting it.
The living room lights were in atmosphere mode, with seven colors flowing, and a faint scent of indulgence drifted in the air.
Xie Shiwei looked up. Qiao Lin leaned over and, at some point, had put on thin-rimmed glasses. He looked very refined and a little naughty, and his mouth was almost touching the side of his face.
Xie Shiwei’s heart skipped a beat, and a strange feeling crawled into his heart.
He did have a good impression of Qiao Lin, but for some reason, he resisted Qiao Lin’s slightly presumptuous approach at this moment.
Qiao Lin noticed, smiled faintly, returned to a normal distance, and whispered an apology in Xie Shiwei’s ear. He said he just couldn’t help but get so close.
Qiao Lin looked very pitiful when he spoke, and Xie Shiwei instantly softened again, so he took the wine from Qiao Lin’s hand and drank it all in one go.
The conclusion was that he really didn’t like to drink. He couldn’t taste any difference in this special blend of fruit wine. It was as unpalatable and heart-burning as any other wine.
However, he suddenly felt very sleepy, so sleepy that he couldn’t keep his eyelids open and fell straight onto Qiao Lin.
Qiao Lin stretched out his arms and put them around Xie Shiwei’s shoulders: “Shiwei, what’s wrong?”
Xie Shiwei was overcome with overwhelming drowsiness: “Sleepy.”
Qiao Lin quietly left the second floor with Xie Shiwei in his arms, went down to the bedroom on the first floor, helped Xie Shiwei to bed, and bent down to cover him with the quilt.
The moonlight outside the window illuminated the room.
Xie Shiwei’s eyelids and cheeks were flushed, and his rosy mouth still smelled of wine.
Qiao Lin’s heart grew itchy, and he became bolder and bolder, leaning down and saying in Xie Shiwei’s ear: “Shiwei, do you like me?”
Xie Shiwei smelled the scent of Qiao Lin’s laundry detergent again.
The alcohol was spreading in his blood, making him not very awake, and his brain seemed to be stuck on a gear: “You, who are you?”
“I’m Qiao Lin.”
“Oh, younger brother Qiao Lin, I like, your face.” Xie Shiwei smiled and scratched Qiao Lin’s face with his finger.
Qiao Lin’s whole body was hot. He stared at Xie Shiwei for three seconds and suddenly leaned down to kiss him.
Xie Shiwei hadn’t completely lost his mind and suddenly opened his eyes wide, putting four fingers across his mouth. His heart was pounding, and he asked a little scared what he was going to do.
Qiao Lin stopped, grabbed Xie Shiwei’s fingers, and lowered his voice: “You like my face, why don’t you let me continue? You’re Xie Shiwei, no one can control whether you have an affair or not.”
A layer of mist appeared in Xie Shiwei’s eyes. Qiao Lin didn’t plan to give him any more chances to refuse or hesitate, controlled Xie Shiwei’s hand, and leaned down somewhat forcefully to continue the kiss he hadn’t gotten.
Xie Shiwei was frightened, twisted his head away, and tried to pull his hand out, but Qiao Lin was too strong, and he couldn’t resist.
His heart sank to the bottom, and when he wanted to shout, the door was pushed open.
It was He Qin.
He Qin stepped forward, grabbed Qiao Lin’s clothes, and pulled him back violently, directly reaching out and grabbing his neck.
“What are you doing?” His voice was cold.
Qiao Lin’s face instantly turned pale, and fear and panic flashed in his eyes. How could He Qin show up tonight?
Xie Shiwei was completely awake, and fear and grievance surged up. He curled up into a ball in the blanket, leaned against the headboard, and looked at He Qin with red eyes.
He Qin threw Qiao Lin away: “You’re fired, get out.”
Qiao Lin’s legs went weak, and he knelt on the floor of the room.
“Xie Shiwei, give me the driver’s phone number.”
Xie Shiwei sniffed, found the boss’s phone number, and handed the phone to He Qin, his slender arms trembling uncontrollably.
He Qin contacted the boss and had Qiao Lin disappear in less than five minutes.
The three people upstairs were still singing karaoke enthusiastically. Qiao Mu and Qiu Chen were singing “Borrow Five Hundred Years from Heaven” in a duet, completely unaware of the shocking things that had happened downstairs.
“I said he didn’t look like a good person,” He Qin said, “You gave him a chance so easily?”
Xie Shiwei rubbed his hand, which had been pinched painfully by Qiao Lin: “I didn’t know he would do this. I just sang a song with him, and I said I liked his face, and then he…”
“What’s so special about his face?” He Qin said coldly, “Such poor taste.”
Xie Shiwei felt even more aggrieved, lowered his head, and tears welled up in his red eyes, crying very quietly.
He Qin had seen Xie Shiwei cry countless times before.
But this was the first time the current Xie Shiwei had shed tears in front of him.
He Qin sat on the edge of the bed, gently patted his thin back, hesitated again and again, and reached out his right hand to embrace the trembling person.
A very polite hug.
But what Xie Shiwei needed at this moment was not such a calm embrace.
He didn’t restrain his dependence and trust in He Qin, lifted the blanket, and burrowed into He Qin’s arms like a cat, wrapping his arms tightly around his waist.
