Chapter 38: Go F Yourself, Yandere

“I don’t care what your situation was before, but from now on, this place is under my command, understand?”

Qin Xian sat on the sofa with his legs spread, surrounded by several police officers. He looked like a triad boss with his subordinates, completely intimidating the young men kneeling on the ground opposite him. Although some were still unconvinced, they obediently remained silent.

“Of course, I won’t make things difficult for you. Just answer a few questions. First, how did the girl in the utility room die?”

The boys’ faces turned grim as they recalled something. They exchanged timid glances, and finally, one pushed Guo Jiarong forward. He lowered his head aggrievedly and replied, “She brought it upon herself and was choked to death.”

Xun Guangfan’s eyes widened in disbelief at the words. “What do you mean she was choked to death because she ‘brought it upon herself’? Who choked her? You guys!?”

He was the youngest-looking among the police officers and found it hard to accept such an answer. In fact, apart from Qin Xian, everyone else had unpleasant expressions. These children were eighteen years old; if they had truly killed someone, their lives would be ruined.

Guo Jiarong jumped at the outburst, a flicker of fear in his eyes, quickly replaced by ferocity. “She wanted to go back, said she wanted to take the college entrance exam and was hiding in her room to study! If there were two more people like her, this paradise would disappear! We must protect this place. We love it here. Only here are we free. Anyone who wants to destroy it should die, should…” Ah!”

Qin Xian slapped him to the ground. The slightly crazed look in the eyes of the other children instantly cleared a little. Qin Xian looked down at the group of quail-like brats and said loudly, “Come, get me a notebook.”

The students looked dazed and didn’t react. Xun Guangfan, however, was quick and immediately handed over his notebook and pen for recording clues. Qin Xian took them and leaned over the coffee table, starting to write.

Xun Guangfan and the others crowded around. “Hey, what are you… writing out the “Chu Shi Biao” (Memorial on Sending Forth the Troops)?”

The other students gasped, and someone immediately stepped forward anxiously. “You can’t do this!”

Qin Xian slammed his pen down and retorted, “Can’t what? Come on, if you have the guts, choke me to death too.”

The students: “…” They couldn’t possibly win against him, so how could they choke him?

“Ac-actually, we didn’t see who choked Wang Rongrong to death…”

They hadn’t seen who committed the murder. This meant the children might not have completely descended into madness, and Xun Guangfan and the others secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

Qin Xian asked, “Do you have any suspects?”

“It should be Tao Xiuping. He was the first to arrive here. As soon as we entered, he laid down the rules and threatened that he wouldn’t be responsible if anyone who violated them died. He also said this was the place he’d always dreamed of, free from parental and teacher supervision, and without a fixed schedule. He wouldn’t allow anyone to destroy it.”

“Bullshit! How could it be me!”

“You said you were sleeping in your room at the time, and there’s no evidence. Maybe you went and killed her.”

“Although I did consider it, I didn’t kill her!! Maybe the girl next door killed her. She had her boyfriend stolen by Wang Rongrong when they were in school…”

A girl who had been watching from a distance suddenly exploded, “What the f! I did not!”

The students started arguing noisily, their shrill voices giving Qin Xian a headache. He decisively stood up, patted Xun Guangfan on the shoulder, and said, “Leave the matter of finding the killer to you professionals.”

“Okay, then Mr. Qin, where are you going?”

“I’ll go check out the fourth floor first…”

The fourth floor looked like a hotel, with a long corridor lined with numerous identical doors on one side. Some doors had “Occupied” written on them, while others were blank. As Qin Xian walked past the first blank door, the sign on it suddenly displayed “Occupied.” He immediately understood that this room belonged to him.

Pushing the door open, he found himself in a surreal, duplex apartment with three rooms. The decor was exquisite and suited Qin Xian’s taste, with a simple yet warm blue and black color scheme, as if tailor-made for him. This structure couldn’t possibly exist within a villa; it felt more like a separate space.

Qin Xian wandered around, finding no anomalies. He couldn’t even find fault with the decor. Everything in the room appealed to him, and the bed and sofa especially made him want to lie down at first glance. If he had worked normally and earned money, his ultimate goal would have been to own a house like this…

“Knock, knock, knock.” A sudden knock echoed, but the visitor was unexpected. The Student Council President grinned and held up five fingers in greeting. “Hi, I’ve come too.”

Qin Xian suppressed the urge to kick him away and asked calmly, “You don’t seem to be human. If you can come in, what about those two Eldritch entities?”

The Student Council President shrugged. “Don’t know.”

Qin Xian immediately closed the door.

“Hey! Aren’t you going to try harder to ask?” The Student Council President used his foot to wedge the door open.

Qin Xian’s hand gripping the doorknob gradually tensed. Immense force was applied to the President’s foot, and the faint sound of bones cracking could be heard. However, the pervert remained unfazed.

“Don’t be angry. It’s not that I’m hiding anything. I just came here as soon as I opened my eyes. I didn’t encounter anything.”

Qin Xian asked, “Then, as an Eldritch entity entering a Domain, you should have been assigned a mandatory mission, right? What is it?”

The President tilted his head and suddenly reached out to him. “18-year-old Teacher Qin is so handsome, not fully grown yet… Your skin is even better, so tender, so fragrant…” He lifted Qin Xian’s hair from his shoulder through the gap in the door and then reached out a finger to touch his cheek.

Qin Xian kicked him directly on the toes and then slammed the door shut,夹住 (jiāzhù – clamping) his four fingers. He used all his strength when slamming the door. Under the immense pressure, four fingers made a jaw-grinding cracking sound, breaking and deforming in the gap. Black-red blood splattered onto Qin Xian’s face and the wall, with a large portion flowing down through the door gap. One of the broken fingers, with only skin remaining, slowly detached and fell to the floor with a “snap.” If the students saw this scene, they would likely faint from fright.

Qin Xian coldly locked the door and went to the bed, lying down and closing his eyes. One second, two seconds… The room was silent. Fifteen, sixteen… A faint sound appeared by the bed. He opened his eyes, took out the cleaver hidden under the pillow, and swung it horizontally.

    “Clang!!”

A piercing sound echoed in the room as Qin Xian’s cleaver collided with the other person’s knife. And the one holding the knife was none other than the Student Council President.

Qin Xian sneered. “You really do have a mission.”

The Student Council President sighed. “There’s no other way. If I want to enter the Domain, I have to do something for it.”

Qin Xian: “Doing something means killing people?”

The President’s wrist continuously exerted force, and the two fruit knives pressed against each other trembled. He said cheerfully, “Yes, but if I killed someone else, Teacher Qin, you’d definitely get angry and ignore me.”

Qin Xian chuckled twice. “So you came to me? Fine, a very wise choice, because I’ll send you straight to hell.”

    “Screech!”

The two knives separated with a grating sound. Qin Xian lunged forward two steps, the fruit knives flashing in the dim room. Forced to retreat, the President dodged all the attacks and slammed his hand against the wall. The room’s lights were all turned on, blindingly bright for an instant.

Qin Xian’s pupils contracted. He instinctively closed his eyes and raised his hand to block the light. The Student Council President seized this opportunity to slash downwards with extreme ferocity, showing no signs of “love.”

Unfortunately, he hit nothing. Qin Xian retreated in time, holding his knife horizontally across his chest in a defensive posture, and asked, “Is this what you call liking me?”

The Student Council President smiled brilliantly and charged forward, swinging his knife and muttering incessantly, “Yes! Don’t you people say love is so strong it makes you want to kill him? There’s also a term… yandere?”

“Go f yourself, yandere. At best, you only deserve the word ‘lunatic’.” Qin Xian squatted to dodge an attack. Seizing the moment the Student Council President exposed his chest by reaching out, he skillfully aimed for the most fatal spot, the heart.

The President flipped backward, but the knife still grazed his chin, and black-red blood dripped onto the carpet. Yet, he still had a smiling face, as if he weren’t the one injured. He didn’t even bother to dodge the blade that was almost at his face, instead charging forward and slashing Qin Xian’s forearm.

“One to one, tied,” the Student Council President said with a smile.

Qin Xian’s eyes sharpened. He grabbed a dinner plate from the table and smashed it over the President’s head. The plate shattered into countless pieces with a crash, and ceramic shards stained with black-red blood fell to the floor. Despite the commotion in the room, no one came. It was likely that no sound from inside the room could be heard from outside.

The Student Council President’s head was bleeding, the blood even flowing into his right eye, dyeing the whites of his eye black-red, making him look even more insane. He lunged at Qin Xian with his knife. Qin Xian raised a chair, using its four legs to block his advance, and then swept his leg, knocking him to the ground.

The Student Council President kicked the chair away while lying on his back. He then saw Qin Xian, whose expression had remained calm, finally reveal a sinister grin. Qin Xian straddled him, raising a sharp knife and stabbing down fiercely towards his chest.

The President immediately grabbed Qin Xian’s hands holding the knife, and the two were locked in a stalemate. The tip of the knife trembled a few centimeters from the Student Council President’s chest but couldn’t plunge in completely.
