ACIFITFDB – Chapter 19
by BLReadsChapter 19: Is He Human? How Could A Human…?
Aunt Zhou immediately sneered, “You think they want to see me dismembered? They want to see you being slaughtered by me even more!”
The bullet comments immediately chimed in:
[Exactly, hahaha]
[For those who want to see the handsome young man’s pupils dilate, his face covered in blood, and his expression filled with fear after he dies, press 1]
[1]
[111]
[11111]
Qin Xian tilted his head and pondered, “Then how about this, you can vote for me directly now. If the votes exceed twenty-five thousand, I’ll tear off two of its tentacles. If I fail, I’ll… chop off one of my own arms, how about that?”
His expression was calm, his eyes even slightly curved, as if he wasn’t talking about his own arm.
The bullet comments instantly erupted.
[Betting this high? Okay, okay]
[Voting for you, I want to see you regret saying this]
[Did anyone notice another muscular guy is missing?]
[He probably ran, I saw him slip away earlier]
[Tch, coward. Remember to catch him and kill him later, streamer]
Aunt Zhou only then realized that Huang Quxie’s figure could no longer be found underground. It snorted, “Heh, I didn’t expect a police officer to be so cowardly. How laughable, hahahaha!”
[What!? He’s a cop? Then we should have killed him first]
[Did the person in front get caught by a cop before? Hahaha]
[Cops should be tortured even more]
“Alright, alright, alright,” Aunt Zhou waved its arms. “I’ll definitely catch him and play with him slowly later. For now, let’s deal with this boastful human in front of us! Regret your words! I’ll cut off your limbs first!”
The four tentacles behind it, which had recovered, slowly rose, their tips turning into cleavers and slashing towards Qin Xian from four directions.
Qin Xian didn’t retreat or dodge sideways. Instead, he charged directly towards the giant eldritch entity.
The four cable-like tentacles in the air paused for a moment, then immediately curved and stabbed towards Qin Xian’s back.
Just as they were about to catch up and pierce him through, Qin Xian suddenly did a backflip. His toes traced a perfect arc in the air before landing directly on a tentacle. Not only did he dodge the attack, but he also used the momentum to leap onto the eldritch entity’s massive body.
“Damn it, you stinky rat!”
Aunt Zhou roared and swung its tentacles to stab him, but Qin Xian seemed to have eyes on his back and completely dodged.
In fact, due to overexerting itself and being unable to retract, Aunt Zhou’s cleaver stabbed its own body.
“Ah!” it screamed, its tentacles returning to their cable-like form and changing from stabbing to coiling.
This change immediately drew a torrent of mockery from the live stream.
[Yo, streamer, you’re so bad, you can’t even stab someone and you end up stabbing yourself]
[So stupid]
[As expected, just a low-to-mid-level piece of trash, this big one can’t even beat one person]
[Hehehe, Qin Yi, little brother, so handsome!]
Qin Xian’s votes continued to climb, soon surpassing twenty-five thousand.
Seeing this, Qin Xian chuckled, “Very well, then I’ll fulfill my promise now.”
He stepped on an electronic screen and leaped up, landing at the base of a tentacle cable.
A joint could be seen here, with many small connecting wires around it.
Aunt Zhou felt a sense of dread. Its body vibrated with a humming sound, trying to shake Qin Xian off.
But Qin Xian stood firm, raising the steel rod in his hand and jamming it into the joint.
“Ahhhhhhh!!”
Screams erupted, sparks crackled at the joint, and the corresponding tentacle crashed to the ground, motionless.
Qin Xian grabbed a component on the eldritch entity’s body to stabilize himself and turned to the camera, saying, “Alright, one is done. If the votes exceed thirty-five thousand, I’ll remove the second one.”
The bullet comments immediately filled with “6666”, and Qin Xian’s votes soared.
“Stop it!!”
Aunt Zhou suddenly shouted, interrupting him. Three tentacles slammed towards Qin Xian.
Qin Xian quickly jumped off it, rolling on the ground before getting up and steadying himself.
Aunt Zhou had already pulled the camera in front of its face. It roared at the lens with a ferocious expression, “Do you really want a human to win?! Vote for me! If I win two more rounds, I can tear him to shreds! Don’t you want to see it?! Don’t you want to kill him!?”
Amidst a flood of mocking comments, Aunt Zhou’s words did have an effect. Qin Xian’s votes almost stopped increasing.
In this live stream, the various ghouls and monsters had almost no hope for Qin Xian to win.
Aunt Zhou opened its mouth and laughed heartily. Its teeth had turned into metal, each one extremely sharp.
“Face reality! You can’t win against me in this live stream! Because all they want to see is your death!”
The screens around it, big and small, flickered together, the picture turning red, filling the entire underground space with an ominous crimson.
“Hmph,” Qin Xian snorted, holding the steel rod horizontally. “Before that, I’ll finish dismantling you!”
With that, he charged forward again. He skillfully climbed upwards using the debris beneath the eldritch entity’s body, intending to break off other tentacles as before.
Aunt Zhou suddenly felt a chill run down its spine. It was starting to feel dissatisfied with its current body. This massive, immobile form could only be bothered by small insects like a log.
In the past, it was proud of this body. Anyone who saw its true form would be so terrified their legs would go weak, and hardly anyone could resist it.
But today, it encountered someone who didn’t fear it at all, someone who could even harm it.
“This is impossible! I’ll tear you into a bloody mess!”
It roared, and the remaining three tentacles flew towards Qin Xian.
At the same time, the monster’s body beneath Qin Xian’s feet kept changing. Sharp metal spikes shot out in his path, attempting to impale him.
But Qin Xian used these spikes as excellent climbing anchors, increasing his climbing speed.
In just over ten seconds, he reached the base of another tentacle.
Seeing that another tentacle was about to be removed, Aunt Zhou cursed and from a pile of metal flesh beneath its body, a particularly huge camera monster suddenly emerged.
Qin Xian reacted extremely quickly, pulling off his jacket and covering his head with it.
With a “click,” a flash of light erupted, and Qin Xian felt an extremely blinding white light even through his clothes.
However, most of the light was weakened by the jacket, and Qin Xian felt no abnormality in his body. The control of the camera monster indeed had limitations; if the white light didn’t shine into the eyes, it would be ineffective.
Before he could relax, Qin Xian suddenly felt something approaching him.
With limited vision, it was impossible to find footing on the complex and intricate eldritch entity, but being ensnared by a tentacle would be even more fatal.
In an instant, Qin Xian made a choice. He stepped into an empty space below him and fell directly from the eldritch entity.
While falling, he dropped his jacket and, like a slide, clung tightly to the entity’s body, sliding down rapidly and trying to adjust his direction to avoid sharp objects.
But there were too many messy things around. He was inevitably tripped by a suddenly appearing metal spike, lost his balance, and rolled to the ground, his arm hitting the ground heavily.
Qin Xian gritted his teeth and quickly got up from the ground, raising his steel rod and smashing away an approaching tentacle.
But the eldritch entity suddenly stopped attacking. Qin Xian looked up and saw it staring excitedly at the electronic screen. The countdown on it had only ten seconds left.
“Hahahaha! My votes are still more than yours! You’re dead!” Aunt Zhou laughed more wildly.
Qin Xian glanced at it as if it were an idiot and took out his unfinished Snickers bar from his pocket and took a bite.
Aunt Zhou’s reddened eyes stared intently at the screen, muttering along with the countdown, “5, 4…”
But at this moment, several gunshots rang out from the landmark. Aunt Zhou couldn’t be bothered, but with two seconds left on the countdown, the screen in front of it suddenly went black.
Aunt Zhou’s ecstatic expression froze on its face, looking incredibly comical.
“Uh oh,” Qin Xian said, carrying his steel rod, letting out two extremely mocking syllables.
Aunt Zhou’s face changed drastically: “What?! A power outage!? Why is there a power outage? Didn’t I send over a dozen people to guard the circuit breaker!?”
It suddenly realized something: “It was that escaping police officer! It was him! You guys… planned this!?”
Qin Xian ignored its question. Having just ingested some sugar, and with the negative effect of the PK failure dissipating, he charged forward again, single-handedly carrying the steel pipe, and smashed it directly at the nearest electronic screen.
“Crash!”
The screen shattered into pieces.
Qin Xian raised an eyebrow. The feeling of smashing it was simply too good. He usually couldn’t smash them because they were too expensive, but now he could smash to his heart’s content. Holding the stick, he was as arrogant as a teenager on a foreign street, swinging his bat at anything he could hit.
Due to the power outage, these machines seemed to have malfunctioned and stopped. The two thick cable tentacles also drooped to the sides. Even the giant camera monster that could flash its light had collapsed.
Qin Xian continued to smash things while taunting, “I say, your equipment is too backward. Which camera nowadays doesn’t have a built-in battery?”
Seeing its body being smashed to pieces, Aunt Zhou roared in anger, and then its body slowly emerged, detaching from the massive body.
Its lower half was no longer human-like, but rather resembled a crudely made robot covered in oil stains and blood.
Upon closer inspection, one could see fragments of human fat and internal organs between the gaps of the mechanical components.
Qin Xian immediately took a step back in disgust.
Aunt Zhou didn’t notice his subtle movement. As soon as it landed, it stepped back and looked at Qin Xian warily.
To be honest, it was somewhat afraid of this human.
Since becoming an eldritch entity, it had harmed many people and absorbed a lot of power through live streaming. In just over half a month, it had gained its own domain. In this village, it was an invincible existence. It even believed that humans could not possibly defeat it. Even the police officers who came to investigate not long ago were easily controlled.
But it never knew that there were people in the world with such terrifying power. Or rather, was this even human? How could a human’s strength reach such a level?!
