Chapter 30: Teacher Qin, What Should I Do, I Love You Too…

As soon as the broadcast ended, the entire teaching building erupted in noise. Screams, whether of despair or pure emotional release, echoed from the students.

Qin Xian, who had been stepping out, retracted his foot and turned back to shout into the classroom, “Stay inside! Lock the doors and block them securely! But make sure to leave yourselves an escape route. Be quiet and don’t make a sound.”

Xu Zimo immediately led the students into action. They closed and locked the front and back classroom doors, secured the windows, and then found places to hide. Some crouched below the window walls, while others hid behind and to the sides of the podium.

Qin Xian stood outside the classroom, took out his switchblade, and flicked his wrist, revealing the blade.

A whistle sounded nearby. The Student Council President leaned against the wall with his arms crossed, looking incredibly relaxed. He seemed unfazed by the chaotic and terrifying scene, his gaze fixed on Qin Xian.

Unlike him, the other members appeared caught off guard, looking at him in panic and asking, “Pres… President, are we participating too? Are we going to be hunted by monsters too?”

The President tugged at a strange black and red armband on his shoulder. “With this, the monsters won’t attack us.”

He then grinned maliciously, “Don’t let anyone snatch it away.”

His voice was noticeably louder than before. A considerable number of students from nearby classes likely heard him.

The student council member immediately clutched his arm nervously.

Qin Xian stared at the President. Judging by his expression, it was deliberate.

Malicious, of unknown origin – he disliked people like this intensely.

Qin Xian, holding his knife, walked towards the stairwell. The President and his entourage immediately followed.

As they descended, Qin Xian repeatedly called out to students still running around outside the classrooms, telling them to immediately go inside and hide. Although some still disobeyed and ran out to look around, most students dared not move carelessly, hiding in the teaching building and not venturing out easily.

The Student Council President chuckled beside him, “You really think of yourself as a teacher, don’t you?”

Upon reaching the first floor, Qin Xian suddenly stopped.

The President asked, “Why aren’t we going any further?”

Screams from the students upstairs indicated they had also seen something.

Qin Xian gripped his switchblade and looked at a giant monster crawling out of the flower bed not far away. It was somewhat like an upgraded security guard, with a massive skull on its head. The top of the skull was lifted, revealing a huge mouth from which several tongues protruded.

Now, this head, as a weak point, was much harder to deal with because it was covered by a thick layer of mucus.

The lower half of the monster’s body was black and spider-like, with a round abdomen covered in sharp hairs. Its raised tail was brewing something.

Qin Xian immediately dodged to the side as a very thick strand of spider silk was sprayed out, sticking to the window of a classroom not far away.

Students still outside the classrooms screamed and rushed back inside, frantically closing windows and doors. For a moment, the teaching building fell silent, the students hiding inside afraid to make a sound.

Qin Xian shouted one last time towards the teaching building, “Stay quiet! Stay in your classrooms and don’t run around!”

As soon as he finished speaking, the spider raised two hind legs, grabbed the silk strand, and pulled hard. The wide metal window frame let out a grating sound and, in less than two seconds, was ripped off entirely.

The glass shattered immediately, flying everywhere amidst the students’ screams.

Seeing Qin Xian about to rush over to save them, the Student Council President stood aside and said, “Follow us, you don’t have to worry about being eaten by this monster.”

Qin Xian ignored him completely. Seeing the spider break through the window and prepare to enter the classroom to hunt students, he directly pursued the spider.

But the spider was covered in bristles, clearly poisonous. Qin Xian, who had intended to jump onto the spider’s soft abdomen to attack its weak point, immediately braked.

He made a swift decision, picked up the discarded window frame from the ground, gripped it with both hands, spun it once, and threw it like a hammer throw towards the skull.

With a “clang,” the window frame hit the spider monster’s skull heavily, then shifted downwards, precisely fitting around what could be called the “neck” below the skull.

    “Squeak squeak squeak!!!”

The spider monster’s movement towards the teaching building was immediately interrupted. It jumped up in anger, trying to remove the object from its neck.

But the spider’s eight legs were only suitable for agile movement; it couldn’t bend its legs upwards to remove the window frame from its neck.

It waved its two front limbs in the air, but couldn’t reach, looking particularly comical.

    “Hahahaha.”

Someone had already burst into laughter.

The spider monster turned its head in anger but found that the one laughing was the Student Council President wearing the armband, an unattackable target.

However, the real culprit was nearby.

The spider monster shrieked, turned, and lunged fiercely at Qin Xian with its front legs.

However, Qin Xian caught a glimpse of the spider’s movement, curled his lips into a smile, and charged directly towards the Student Council President. The Student Council President’s smile faltered for a moment, but then he seemed to smile even more happily.

The spider’s legs chased after Qin Xian, aiming for his back, but just as he was about to be impaled, Qin Xian grabbed the Student Council President by the shoulder and shoved him, swapping their positions.

The spider leg stopped just in front of the President’s head, not directly piercing it.

The President lightly pushed the spider leg away and tilted his head, complaining to Qin Xian, “You’re so heartless, using me as a human shield. I’m a student, the flower of the nation, shouldn’t you be protecting me?”

“Heh heh.” Qin Xian felt like he had heard a joke. “You’re a student? I doubt you’re even human.”

The spider opposite them, witnessing this scene, let out an enraged shriek. But Qin Xian held a bug-level shield, leaving it with no way to attack.

Its exposed brain thought hard for a moment. Qin Xian was just one meal, but the building beside them was packed with easier-to-get snacks. The spider immediately turned and rushed towards the teaching building again.

Qin Xian, with one hand pulling the President’s collar and the other holding his switchblade, chased after it and stabbed it into the spider’s leg joint.

This human, why are you so annoying!!

The spider monster staggered in pain and had no choice but to turn back, its skull’s dark eye sockets staring intently at Qin Xian.

Its rotten brain, after a difficult period of thought, finally came up with a good idea.

If it wanted to attack Qin Xian, it had to get rid of the human shield in his hand.

As Qin Xian attacked its second leg, the spider sprayed a large amount of silk from its tail again. Qin Xian reflexively dodged, only to find that the silk’s target was not him, but the Student Council President in his hand.

The President remained motionless, and the spider silk directly hit his leg. Stuck to the ground by the spider silk, he even smiled at Qin Xian, “Uh oh, looks like your shield is gone.”

    So annoying.

Seeing the spider legs attacking from multiple directions, Qin Xian could only leave the President and dodge the attack. The spider, seeing its legs couldn’t reach him, directly unleashed a large-area attack, firing out poisonous bristles from its body, covering Qin Xian.

Qin Xian sprinted towards the bulletin board in front of the teaching building, but it was likely he would be hit before he reached it.

Just then, a moving blackboard rushed out from the garden. Qin Xian immediately changed direction and ran behind the blackboard.

The bristles plunged into the blackboard with a “pfft pfft pfft,” and a few even penetrated it slightly, their poisoned tips protruding from the other side.

Another person was hiding behind the blackboard, a young male about thirty years old.

Qin Xian nodded to him, “Thank you, are you a police officer?”

The other replied, “Yes, my surname is Zhang. I just came in this morning, my identity is a maintenance worker.”

So it seemed he got the blackboard from some storage room.

Qin Xian looked at the blackboard beside him, but in the next second, a powerful pulling force prevented Officer Zhang from holding on, and the blackboard flew away.

A strand of spider silk was still attached to the blackboard.

Having removed their defensive object, the spider smugly rubbed its front legs together and roared down at them. Then, in the next second, with a few soft “pfft pfft pfft” sounds, the spider immediately shrieked and retreated, waving its legs in pain.

Qin Xian turned his head, his eyes lighting up, and he couldn’t help but praise, “Hoo, good stuff.”

Officer Zhang was holding a nail gun filled with I-shaped nails nearly a centimeter long. As long as the trigger was pressed, these nails would be fired out, though not with particularly great power.

“But it’s unlikely we can kill it with just this,” Officer Zhang frowned.

Qin Xian replied, “Interfering with it is enough. Can you help distract it?”

Officer Zhang’s hand trembled. He took a deep breath and nodded.

“Shoot at its joints, eyes, and the brain inside its skull! If it gets too close to you, hide behind that Student Council President.”

After Qin Xian finished speaking, he charged in the opposite direction of Officer Zhang.

The spider had also recovered by then. It noticed Qin Xian fleeing, but at this moment, its hatred for Officer Zhang, who had injured it, was even deeper. It charged directly at Officer Zhang.

Meanwhile, Qin Xian directly removed the transparent glass panel from the bulletin board and threw it directly at the spider monster’s bristly body.

Something hitting it, the monster reflexively fired a large amount of bristles, smashing the glass panel to pieces.

But Qin Xian looked at its appearance and sneered coldly.

The bristles the spider monster fired couldn’t grow back immediately. When it fired a large clump of bristles, a large bald patch would appear on its abdomen. Its torso, which was originally difficult to approach, became a place to stand.

Even as it continued to fire bristles to attack the police officer in front of it, it didn’t realize that the number of bristles it could fire was decreasing, and its round body was becoming increasingly bald.

Just as the officer was rolling on the ground in distress and could barely hold on, the spider monster, preparing for a final blow, suddenly felt something unusual in its abdomen, as if something was stepping on it.

It continued to kick out bristles reflexively, but not only could it not dislodge what was behind it, but it also felt sharp pain from its tail end.

“Squeak squeak squeak!!!” It shrieked and turned its head, finding Qin Xian standing on its abdomen, stabbing a sharp stone directly into its tail spinneret.

The vulnerable part sent sharp pain, and its ability to spin silk was immediately disabled. Its remaining attack methods were only its spider legs and the toothed tongues inside its skull.

Several crimson tongues coiled towards Qin Xian, but this type of tentacle attack was the most common eldritch attack Qin Xian had encountered in the Infinite Flow World, and he was skilled at dealing with ordinary tentacles.

He first crouched to attract the tentacles to attack downwards, then jumped upwards to a certain height and position, attracting all the petal-like tentacles to open, exposing their most vulnerable core.

Qin Xian was not afraid of the tongue tentacles covering the sky above his head. He descended at an even faster speed and stabbed his knife into the vulnerable brain.

Pull out, stab down, pull out, stab down!

Flesh and blood fragments splattered on his face, and the surrounding tongues convulsed in pain. His repeated stabbing of the knife into the monster’s brain looked like that of a complete pervert.

Officer Zhang, not far away, watched in stunned silence.

    “Ah, so wonderful…”

Another voice sounded from beside him, giving Officer Zhang a second shock. He turned his head and saw the Student Council President, who had been stuck to the ground, looking up at Qin Xian with fascination.

    Officer Zhang: “…”

After its fatal weak point was stabbed more than ten times, the spider monster soon let out a wail and collapsed on the ground, twitching.

Qin Xian jumped off it, and screams and applause suddenly erupted from all floors of the teaching building. Qin Xian looked up and saw a crowd of curious and brave little heads peeking out from the corridors, having apparently been watching for a long time.

Someone even screamed, “Teacher Qin! I love you!!!”

Qin Xian was amused and exasperated. He turned away, no longer paying attention to those students. He walked towards Officer Zhang, only to see the Student Council President cleaning off the spider silk. As he approached, the President said in an infatuated tone, “Teacher Qin, what should I do, I love you so much too.”

Author’s Note: [Let me see] Some popular science: Some spiders can shoot out the bristles on their bodies, which is called kicking bristles. The hairs are mildly toxic and cause itching and pain when they pierce the skin.
