Su Yuyang coldly snorted twice, “So blatant now?”
“This is CEO Qiu’s younger brother, here to see CEO Qiu about some private matters. Mr. Su, please don’t misunderstand.”
Su Yuyang shook his head, picked up his coffee, and walked away.
“Does that guy usually work here?” Jing Yueming asked, feeling a bit jealous.
Assistant Liu: “He works here regularly, please don’t mind it.” Assistant Liu stopped in front of a dark gray door, knocked, waited three seconds, and then opened the door and went in. “CEO Qiu, Mr. Jing is here.”
“Good, let him in.”
Assistant Liu gestured for Jing Yueming to enter, and then left, giving the two of them a private space.
Qiu Ci’s office was very large.
It was also decorated in gray tones, with a business style, which didn’t quite match Jing Yueming.
Several plates of desserts were placed in front of Qiu Ci, probably just brought in, along with two cups of coffee. “I can only spend eight minutes with you. I have a meeting later.”
“So busy?” Jing Yueming moved closer to Qiu Ci. Qiu Ci, wearing a suit and slicking back his hair, had a different kind of allure. He wanted to mess up his neat clothes.
Qiu Ci leaned back slightly, widening the distance between them. “The shareholders’ meeting is really important, I’m sorry.”
Jing Yueming craned his neck and, before Qiu Ci could react, gave him a light kiss.
“Want to do something more excessive.”
Only this time did Qiu Ci’s words become stern, “Really can’t, next time.”
“Next time can be in the office?” Jing Yueming scooped a spoonful of pistachio-flavored cupcake.
Qiu Ci reached out and touched Jing Yueming’s fluffy, dark brown hair. “Okay.”
“Without messing up your clothes, I’ll collect some interest.”
After confirming that Qiu Ci didn’t resist, he held the back of Qiu Ci’s neck and kissed him deeply.
Jing Yueming had never seen Ai La in an office setting, and he had never had someone like Qiu Ci who was willing to let him come to his workplace.
Qiu Ci trusted him and treated him like a primary partner.
Even as just a lover, he received too many privileges from Qiu Ci.
Qiu Ci was really good.
The eight minutes passed quickly, and Assistant Liu knocked lightly on the wooden door.
After making sure his attire was in order, Qiu Ci washed his face and said goodbye to Jing Yueming, “You can wait for me here, or you can ask the driver to take you back.”
“Okay.” So, he had a driver.
But Jing Yueming still planned to quietly wait for Qiu Ci to get off work and leave together.
As a result, Manager Liu informed him, “CEO Qiu’s meeting has run into some trouble, would you like to go back first?”
“I’ll wait for him.”
“Okay.”
Not long after Manager Liu left, Su Yuyang hurried over again, without even knocking on the door.
He only glanced at him, then rummaged through Qiu Ci’s desk drawers, looking for something.
Jing Yueming spoke first, “What are you doing?” His tone was impatient.
“Looking for Qiu-ge’s car keys. They need a document over there, is it at Qiu-ge’s house?” Su Yuyang cursed under his breath, “Damn it, where is it?”
Jing Yueming spread his hands. “This?” It was Qiu Ci’s Porsche, originally intended to drive Qiu Ci home.
Su Yuyang reached out and took the keys. “Don’t hide things here.”
Jing Yueming got up. “I’ll go with you.”
Su Yuyang reluctantly said, “Fine.”
The two remained silent, Jing Yueming not deliberately emphasizing his position as the main partner.
Su Yuyang also didn’t mention how good Qiu Ci usually was to him.
“Aren’t you also a small business owner? How come you’re acting as Qiu Ci’s driver?” Jing Yueming opened the conversation.
“Qiu-ge promised me. Don’t you think being with him is good in itself?”
“Of course, it’s good.”
The commute was a bit congested, and Su Yuyang was anxious, checking his watch every few seconds.
It took almost an hour.
Finally, they arrived downstairs at the apartment building. He didn’t even bother with Jing Yueming, he was so eager.
No matter how anxious, he still took the elevator up.
Su Yuyang skillfully entered the password for Qiu Ci’s door.
Jing Yueming felt inexplicably jealous, even though he probably knew that this would happen.
Otherwise, why would he have Su Yuyang come to his house to get something.
He couldn’t help but suspect that Qiu Ci was hiding some things from him. Had he really never been with this guy?
Su Yuyang left after grabbing the item.
Jing Yueming couldn’t catch his car at all.
Looks like he was left at home.
After hesitating for a while, Jing Yueming also unlocked Qiu Ci’s door.
When Su Yuyang opened the door, he had memorized the six-digit password.
What greeted him was a small, tidy room.
So, this side of the room was so small. No wonder he liked being in his apartment.
How could a big boss live in such a small apartment.
There were very few things, very tidy, with Qiu Ci’s unique sense of detachment.
Jing Yueming took a deep breath of this cool air.
He took a picture of Qiu Ci’s room and sent it to him: “That guy didn’t close the door for you.”
Qiu Ci didn’t reply until two hours later.
“It’s okay, watch the house for me, wait for me to come back.”
Looks like he’s finished with work.
Jing Yueming quietly sat on the sofa, waiting for Qiu Ci to come home.
The door was opened softly.
Qiu Ci turned on the light in the room that had been turned off all the time.
The light woke up Jing Yueming.
“You’re back!”
Qiu Ci took off his coat and draped it over his arm. His tie was loosened, and his muscles were faintly visible under his shirt. “Yeah, you’ve been waiting.”
Jing Yueming wrapped his arms around Qiu Ci’s narrow waist. “You’re dressed so formally. As soon as I see you, I want to… is it okay?”
Qiu Ci chuckled, still so alluring. “Okay.”
Jing Yueming was no longer polite.
“Qiu Ci… you’re wearing shirt stays!” The bottom of his shirt was fixed to his thighs, making his formal wear look more proper.
“Hmm…” Qiu Ci trembled slightly.
More than an hour later, Qiu Ci was helped to the bathroom to take a shower.
After washing up, Jing Yueming wrapped himself in a bath towel and planned to look for suitable clothes in Qiu Ci’s closet.
He pushed open the closet door.
“Qiu Ci, did you do the renovation yourself? That’s really interesting. You made some secret doors.” Jing Yueming walked in.
The inside was twice the size of the outside room.
Super large floor-to-ceiling windows, overlooking the entire city skyline.
One side of the wall was a row of glass display cases.
Paintings, photos, liquor.
And some manuscripts. While thinking about their origins, the largest display case caught his attention.
That familiar, red velvet gown.
Jing Yueming felt like his throat was being choked.
How could it be.
Here? Wasn’t this thing stolen?
How could it be.
The red dress was worn on a mannequin, displayed in the display case like a work of art.
Looking closely at the things in the other display cases.
There were familiar manuscripts, Ai La’s former works.
Letters he sent to Ai La.
In several different photos, were two people with similar appearances, but from different periods.
The design draft he sent to Qiu Ci a while ago was also on the table.
Panicked, Jing Yueming wanted to escape. When he turned around.
Wearing a wine-red robe, wet hair still dripping.
His neck and collarbones were covered in ambiguous marks made by Jing Yueming.
Those eyes emitted a color like the aurora borealis.
A gorgeous but poisonous snake.
“Qiu Ci… you didn’t tell me you knew Ai La!” Jing Yueming didn’t even notice that his eyes were already red.
He knew everything. Everything labeled as a gift.
Had been processed.
