[Title: Reading the top post reminded me of Peace Guild’s emergency evacuation guide, so I’m writing this…] [Recommend: 76191 / Dislike: 191]
I used to be a part-timer at Peace Guild (not full-time).
So I don’t know a lot. But what I saw, as the person who wrote the top post said, was that information in the Awakened training material.
The first page of the material says that when an assault team enters a Dungeon Gate, they should first scan the nearby terrain to check the internal rank, right? But if the rank is Unmeasurable / Measurement Impossible, like in Taejongdae, Busan, it says to scan the monster rank first, not the terrain, as soon as you enter. Then, after scanning the surrounding monsters, if even one A-rank monster is seen, it says in big, bold red letters, about 20 points big, to immediately exit.
If it’s an Unmeasurable / Measurement Impossible dungeon, they give you a Return Stone even if it’s an Open-type Dungeon. The reason is that there have been a few cases overseas where, even if it was an Open-type Dungeon upon entry, the rank suddenly went Berserk after the assault team entered, and the gate closed. So, it said that in Korea, they always give a Return Stone.
Anyway, they taught us that if you enter and see even one A-rank monster nearby, don’t hesitate to use the Return Stone and get out immediately. The reason this stuck with me is that it said even if the team leader orders you not to leave in such a situation, you can still use the Return Stone and exit, and it won’t be considered insubordination or result in punishment.
This was written in huge letters on the first page of the lecture notes I organized, and it’s not confidential because other guilds teach this too, and even Espers who do Youtuber streams sometimes mention it. This is actually information that can be shared. (So don’t report me lolllll)
And I heard the dungeon that broke out in Fukushima last year was the same ㅠㅠ
There, just like in Korea, there was nothing unusual at first, but as soon as the assault team entered, the rank soared, and the gate completely closed, right? But Japanese guilds don’t have mandatory Return Stone provision, so there weren’t many people with Return Stones. That’s why the A-rank Esper, Erika, who died in the line of duty, gave her Return Stone to her paired Guide to escape… She lied and said she had one, so her Guide wouldn’t refuse to leave… Anyway, we lost such a kind and competent A-rank Esper unnecessarily…
Because of that incident, major Korean guilds, who already provided Return Stones, now make it mandatory to check quantities and issue them without fail. So, like the top post, I’m a bit puzzled. I don’t know why there’s no briefing. I’m not trying to bring up conspiracy theories. I’m just worried and frustrated.
If things like this keep being hidden, eventually something big will happen… This history keeps repeating itself. So, I guess I’m worried… Kang Jae-yoon’s disappearance is so tragic, and I’m so worried about Han Ji-su, who’s left alone, but I’m just worried about this country. No, I’m worried about Earth… I was just watching a Youtuber, and there’s another Unmeasurable / Measurement Impossible dungeon appearing in California, and they’re forming an assault team. I’m going to keep an eye on how that turns out… I’m just worried about everything, and I’ve been so uneasy lately.
They say posts like this get deleted these days, I wonder if mine will be deleted too ㅠㅠ?

Damn, changing the subject a bit, the Erika incident is truly infuriating every time I think about it. It perfectly shows the worst possible disaster that can happen when a crazy guild has terrible welfare and skimps on Awakened individuals’ resources. It’s a relief that the second assault team succeeded in clearing it and at least found the bodies…
└2222222 Seriously… A perfectly capable person died who didn’t have to. So sad…
└They say Esper Erika stayed behind alone, using all the potions in her Inventory to prevent a Dungeon Break, and brought the boss monster down to half health… Her teammates used Return Stones to escape, but she was trapped when the gate closed, how scared must she have been in there…
└Not everyone escaped then, a few others besides Erika couldn’t get out… because they didn’t have Return Stones…
└222222222 All those who remained were Espers and Healers. They all lied to their paired Guides, saying they had spare Return Stones, and gave theirs up to save them… It was a true catastrophe.
└But Erika’s paired Guide ended up committing suicide, right? Because people blamed them for surviving alone, saying they should have died…
└No, they attempted suicide but didn’t die. I heard they were hospitalized. They controlled the media. Anyway, it’s a tragic incident… There are so many twisted and crazy people in this world who have the nerve to say such things to someone’s face…
└They say Han Ji-su’s personal social media is also getting hateful comments lately, saying he should have died instead. Crazy bastards, Han Ji-su wasn’t even part of that dungeon’s assault team, why are they doing that? I’m diligently collecting evidence of every single one I see to make sure nothing like that happens to Han Ji-su… Seriously, the hateful comments are too much. It infuriates me. Those kinds of people should die.
Reading the top post and then this one makes me understand even less; why couldn’t Kang Jae-yoon, who had so many Return Stones, get out? I also don’t like how all the Taejongdae, Busan assault team members are keeping their mouths shut. Even if they were ordered by superiors to stay silent, how can not a single one speak up? And Jjinpeoreupeul, who is known for speaking bluntly, why are they so quiet this time?
└Don’t talk so easily about other people’s business. It could be their career is on the line… I’m sure there’s a reason.
└Who’s going to ensure the public’s right to know what that reason is?
└Does the public absolutely need to know?
└???????? What the?????
└No. Is there a reason the public absolutely needs to know? If revealing it would cause chaos, then I think it’s right to keep it hidden.
Everyone’s talking about the public’s right to know and all… I also agree with the last reply to the comment above. Let’s not forget. It hasn’t even been 5 years since our dark age. Right after The Cataclysm, in a state of anarchy, people killed, robbed, and did terrible things just to avoid starving. Those same humans are now living among us, pretending to be normal. It hasn’t been that long since people believed groundless rumors, nobody knew where they came from, and killed others from different groups and did all sorts of messed-up things, has it??? It’s too late to pretend to be intellectuals; we’re all people who survived by doing terrible things in terrible situations back then. If the truth is that such savage acts of people killing and hurting each other to survive, like during the dark age, could happen again, then I think it’s better not to announce it.
‘It’s morning…’
Ji-su, opening his eyes with a rustle, stretched his body under the covers and yawned. Then, instead of getting up immediately, he shifted positions, adjusted himself comfortably, and lay there, staring blankly outside.
