“H-huh… Ugh… I-I’m fine. I’m fine, so please, answer me.”

Despite saying he was fine, Han Ji-su could barely maintain his breathing, his words broken, as he looked Jung Ha-jin straight in the eye and asked.

“The Peace Guild, and Kim Hyun-ah? Ha, huff… What did she say? Those people who made the claims, huff… Did they, ugh… confirm what they said?”

Thump-thump- Thump-thump-thump- Thump-thump- Thump- His wildly pounding heart grew even more intense. Jung Ha-jin held Han Ji-su’s hand, gently stroking the back of it, and shook his head.

    “Nothing has been proven.”

    “…Ugh… h-huff…”

Han Ji-su, though sitting still, grimaced and gasped for breath as if he had been running.

Toto, who had been quiet all this time, seemed worried. He scurried over, placed both paws on Han Ji-su’s wrist, and cried, “Chi…” Han Ji-su appeared to have no leisure to even glance at Toto, struggling to regulate his breathing.

    “It’s… gasp, it’s strange, that…”

    “Guide Han Ji-su.”

“They even had a debate, huff… a news debate, right? Without evidence, on public television, huff… it’s not just a simple report, the risk must be huge… If they’re willing to broadcast it, then… to some extent… there must be something they’re confident about…”

Han Ji-su, having some experience in broadcasting from his entertainment career, started speculating in an unexpected direction. He believed that a public news debate wouldn’t have gone as far as a discussion if the story had no credibility at all.

If it were Han Ji-su before the Taejongdae, Busan incident, he would have just laughed it off, thinking the public broadcasting was fabricating and inciting again. But now, he was agitated, desperately trying to find some positive possibility.

Jung Ha-jin understood Han Ji-su’s confusion. So, to correct his misconception, he gently stroked the back of Han Ji-su’s hand a couple of times, then slowly shook his head and denied it.

“To be precise, it was a criticism of people who irresponsibly prattled on, bringing up a few videos in a situation with no evidence.”

    “…”

“Of course, perhaps for ratings, the host did make an ambiguous comment like ‘we’ll have to wait and see if it’s true,’ but the experts who appeared firmly denied it, calling it an unsubstantiated claim.”

    “H-huff… Ha…”

“Guide Han Ji-su. Breathe slowly. Slowly.”

“Ugh… I’m fine, for now, I understand. Then… huff… what about the Dungeon that appeared in China? Why… why did that story come out? It doesn’t seem like the Youtubers just started talking about it for no reason…”

Jung Ha-jin watched carefully as Han Ji-su’s breathing slowly calmed. His heart was still beating fast, but once it was confirmed that he had stabilized enough not to be out of breath, Jung Ha-jin slowly continued his explanation.

In truth, there wasn’t much to explain. The Youtuber-originated rumor was simply a claim that satellite photos showed similar surrounding wave patterns. Jung Ha-jin emphasized that the photos were unclear, and it made no sense for China to deliberately create a “show” by even blowing up a Dungeon themselves to hide its annihilation.
