    Chapter 49: Heartbreak, I Can’t

    Chapter 49: Heartbreak, I Can’t

The moment Ling Zao was jolted awake by the cold water, the intense pain caused him to howl involuntarily. Immediately after, a piece of cold metal sealed his mouth shut.

He was tied to a chair in the center of a dim and unfamiliar private room. Someone sat cross-legged on the sofa and reached out to turn on the spotlight next to them.

Ling Zao squinted in the blinding light. After a brief moment of dizziness, he made out the man opposite him.

The other man looked very young, with phoenix eyes, long eyebrows, and a tall, upright figure. He appeared cold and noble, with slightly upturned eye corners that added to his sharpness. Yet, when he smiled, it added a touch of gentleness. Just sitting there, he inspired a kind of urge to submit.

A violent force struck the back of his head. Someone sneered, “You’re about to die and still not honest? Don’t want your eyes anymore?”

Ling Zao winced and looked up, immediately seeing the handsome and dashing mercenary with sword-like eyebrows and starry eyes. His eyes lit up again, and he couldn’t help but gulp.

What beauties! They were practically two heaven-sent beauties! This batch of goods was truly of high quality…

“Damn!” Li Yao was disgusted by his gaze. “See clearly who I am!”

The metal was removed from his mouth, and Ling Zao was sprayed full in the face with a mental power enhancer. He shook his head vigorously and finally recognized the handsome guy in front of him. All his excitement instantly plummeted as if he’d fallen into an ice cellar. He stammered, “Li… Li… Colonel Li?”

Li Yao grinned maliciously. “Your eyes aren’t blind yet.”

“Misunderstanding, misunderstanding! My mental power has been a little unstable recently. Please don’t take it to heart.” Ling Zao gave two dry laughs, his gaze falling uncontrollably onto Liang Huan’s face again. “Then who is this beautiful gentleman?”

“Mr. Ling, hello. I am Liang Huan, the Black Market’s trusted administrator.” Liang Huan smiled slightly. “I’ve heard so much about you.”

Ling Zao’s face turned white, then whiter. He had naturally investigated Liang Huan after the big commotion in the Black Market. This man was young, but supposedly able to kill special-grade heteromorphs. He also took down Yu Wan Yao and brought the Black Market’s fierce and brutal criminals to heel…

“Haha, hello, hello. Mr. Liang is more… more imposing in person than in the photos.” Ling Zao’s lips trembled slightly. “I wonder if you two are looking for me for anything important? How about first… first untying me, and then we can talk.”

Ling Zao was clever, knowing that he had been tied up and brought here. He adopted a very low attitude, afraid that these two would take his life. After all, mercenaries and Black Market thugs were unreasonable brutes. He had suffered at the hands of Yu Wan Yao before and believed he was experienced in this. Problems that could be solved with money were not problems at all.

Liang Huan and Li Yao exchanged a look. Li Yao raised his chin, signaling for him to start, and then crossed his legs and sat back on the sofa to watch the show.

“Mr. Ling Zao.” Liang Huan straightened up. “I’ve come to see you this time because I want to ask you about something.”

Ling Zao smiled. “Wh… what is it?”

“Just a few days ago, the residents of the Black Market collectively experienced an explosive outbreak of high mental power functional disorder. We spent a lot of money and resources to resolve this matter.” Liang Huan looked at him and said slowly, “Later, we traced the source of the pollution to a secret laboratory on the lower eighth level of the underground.”

The smile on Ling Zao’s face faltered, and he looked at him with suspicion.

“As far as I know, this laboratory belongs to the Dawn Laboratory, a subsidiary of the Dawn Group. They have been conducting observation experiments on the residents of the Black Market for more than ten years, and the pollution radiation levels in the Black Market are all severely excessive.” Liang Huan watched his face turn increasingly ugly, and asked with a smile, “We found a large amount of financial transactions between the Dawn Laboratory and you, Yu Wan Yao, as well as the identity information and physical data of the Black Market residents, in the data recovered from the laboratory. Tell me, if I make all this evidence public, will you still be able to live so happily?”

Ling Zao’s hands trembled uncontrollably. “I don’t know anything about any underground laboratory, any laboratory! I don’t know anything!”

“Whether you know or not is not up to you.” Liang Huan leaned back on the sofa, his smile fading. “Ling Zao, the evidence is conclusive in this matter. Both public opinion and the base’s laws can condemn you to eternal damnation.”

The fleshy parts of Ling Zao’s face were covered in sweat. He stared fixedly at Liang Huan, suddenly straining forward with all his might. He said harshly, “Since you were able to come and find me, you wouldn’t make this matter public. What do you want? Money? Or people? Don’t play dumb with me! Tell me directly what you want!”

“Mr. Ling is a sensible man.” Liang Huan looked at him calmly. “I’m managing the Black Market, not some saint of justice.”

Ling Zao chuckled. “Since you’ve taken over Yu Wan Yao’s business, then we can continue to cooperate. Whatever split I had with Yu Wan Yao, you and I can continue with the same split. I definitely won’t let you suffer any losses. What do you think?”

“Mr. Ling has misunderstood. I’m not interested in the laboratory. Although there are many criminals in the Black Market, most of them are ordinary people who have nowhere else to turn. I’m a bit superstitious and not willing to do these immoral things. I prefer to do some legal and compliant business.” Liang Huan said, “But my abilities are limited, so I can only ask Mr. Ling for help.”

Ling Zao was momentarily unsure of what he meant. “What do you want to do?”

“I heard that whether it’sCivil organizations (Civillian group) or professional teams, they all need an opening permit from the Administrative Court to go to the outer regions?” Liang Huan asked.

Ling Zao readily said, “That’s easy. In the future, if any teams from the Black Market want to go to the outer regions, they can just go. I can help you figure out a way for identity verification.”

“Mr. Ling has misunderstood. What I mean is, the authority to issue opening permits for the Eastern Third District.” Liang Huan said.

The expression on Ling Zao’s face twisted. “That’s impossible! Your appetite is a little too big. Opening permits require the district chief’s personal review plus authorization from the military. How can the people from your Black Market interfere in such an important political matter? Even if I wanted to, the higher-ups wouldn’t allow it. This is simply impossible.”

Liang Huan looked at him coldly.

The room instantly fell silent, with only Ling Zao’s heavy breathing audible. Liang Huan’s gaze was clearly cold, but it made him feel like he was sitting on pins and needles. Bearing the other man’s oppressive scrutiny, he sweated profusely and desperately swallowed hard, stretching his neck.

Li Yao had been playing with his Dawn Chip, and hearing Ling Zao’s increasingly suppressed breathing, couldn’t help but look at Liang Huan.

Liang Huan noticed his gaze and turned to give him a gentle and warm smile.

“…” Li Yao ignored him, and lowered his head to tap the light screen. As a result, the little figure in the game staggered and was blown up by a bomb.

    Tch.

“I—I’ll consider it. Let me think.” Ling Zao’s dry voice rang out in the room.

“Mr. Ling, you first need to understand one thing. I don’t necessarily need to cooperate with you.” Liang Huan said, “The Dawn Laboratory wants to suppress this matter even more than you do. If it really can’t be suppressed, they can also find a scapegoat. Do you think they will look for me, a Black Market administrator who just took office, or will they look for you?”

“Why waste words with him? The General Administrative Court hasn’t managed the Eastern Third District for a long time, keeping him here is just a mascot.” Li Yao scoffed, “Just kill him and replace him with someone new. He’ll definitely be more obedient.”

Ling Zao turned ashen. “No, no, I promise you! I have a way, a way to get you a position in the Eastern Third District’s Administrative Court!”

Liang Huan smiled. “Then I’ll have to trouble you.”

Ling Zao shook his head repeatedly. “No trouble, no trouble at all.”

Li Yao had long since given up any hope for the Administrative Court, but seeing Ling Zao’s cowardly appearance, he was still amused and laughed. “That’s truly something.”

“Can you release me now?” Ling Zao tentatively struggled, but the ropes on his body tightened even more.

“Not so fast. There’s one more thing I want to ask you.” Liang Huan said, “Back when Li Yao came to the Eastern Third District from the Eastern District First Prison, all the handover of identity information was handled by your Eastern Third District’s Administrative Court. After his military chip was cancelled, it should have been managed by the Administrative Court. Do you know where that chip is now?”

Ling Zao’s eyes darted around quickly. “Of course. In theory, it should be in the Administrative Court’s archives building, but Colonel Li’s identity is special. Many of the files are top secret, and it’s not easy for them to reach our Administrative Court. I remember it was in 132—that is, five years ago, when Colonel Li first came to the Eastern Third District, and his identity information had just been transmitted, it was intercepted by people from the military.”

Li Yao frowned. “Who intercepted it?”

“How would I know that?” Ling Zao lowered his eyes and said.

“If the information was transmitted by the military, then they wouldn’t need to intercept it.” Liang Huan said, “From what you’re saying, it sounds more like you were forced to transmit the information to another place, Ling Zao, are you afraid that your current crimes aren’t serious enough?”

“They had a military receiving order. Even if it didn’t comply with the procedures, what could I do? And most of that information was encrypted…” Ling Zao immediately became anxious. Seeing Liang Huan’s gaze growing colder, he stammered, “I… I glanced at it back then. The new receiving order had a seal, and the information was received by a young colonel from the military, who seemed to be called… Lin Chen.”

Liang Huan was stunned for a moment.

    “Lin Chen?” Li Yao frowned.

Liang Huan asked, “Do you know him?”

“I don’t know him, but there’s more than one or two people in the military who don’t like me.” Li Yao didn’t take the name to heart. “If that’s the case, then the military chip should also have been received by this Lin Chen.”

He just didn’t know why the chip would appear at the entrance of the Chuanwu Laboratory. And according to the time Li Yao estimated, the chip should have been placed there seven years ago, but Lin Chen only intercepted the information five years ago. Could it be that Lin Chen has nothing to do with the military chip?

Ling Zao, being such a spineless person, confessed everything as soon as he was frightened. It was estimated that no one would trust him with important information.

Seeing this, Liang Huan said, “Since that’s the case, then let’s go back to the Black Market and slowly investigate. Is this chip very important to you?”

“I don’t know. I can’t open it now either. If I want to get the information inside, I need to unfreeze my authority in the military.” Li Yao gave a self-deprecating laugh. “No chance.”

Liang Huan stood up and said, “Not necessarily. Wait until we—”

The sound of special glass shattering suddenly exploded behind them. A light sniper bullet pierced through Liang Huan’s left shoulder, the exhaust trail leaving a white streak in the air. It struck Ling Zao right between the eyebrows, blood splattering onto the white walls of the private room, turning into a brilliant silhouette.

Ling Zao was tied to the chair with his eyes wide open, staring blankly at the shattered window, dying with lingering resentment.

“Damn.” The moment he heard the noise, Li Yao pushed Liang Huan to the ground. He held his hand tightly over Liang Huan’s wound, and with his other hand, he pulled out a medical patch and tore it open with his mouth to paste it on him.

Liang Huan frowned. “Who is it?”

He hadn’t noticed anyone following him at all along the way.

“I don’t know.” Li Yao also had no clue. He suppressed the irritation in his heart. “It’s very likely to be someone from the military. Military chips all have locators, even though I’ve dealt with it, it’s not guaranteed to be foolproof. I’ll cover you while you leave first.”

Liang Huan disagreed. “Let’s go together.”

“I’d like to.” Li Yao cursed, suddenly erupting and throwing out a light mist grenade. The room was immediately filled with fog. He was extremely fast, and a series of bullets brushed past them. Li Yao dragged Liang Huan and hid behind the wall. “They probably have long-range scanners. I even specifically tied Ling Zao in the corner, but they still found an opportunity to strike. Don’t worry, whether it’s someone from the military or not, even if they catch me, they won’t let me die. It’s not certain for you.”

Liang Huan gave him a deep look.

“What kind of look is that?” Li Yao raised his eyebrows.

Li Yao was leaning against the wall, practically using his body to shield him. Liang Huan said, “Being alive is enough? Or are you saying you’d rather be caught by them than stay by my side?”

Li Yao was shocked. “What kind of understanding is that?”

“That’s just my understanding.” Liang Huan grabbed his wrist and dragged him out of the room.

He was extremely fast, and even Li Yao staggered and barely managed to keep up. Bullets pierced the wall, nailing into the carpet near their feet. Ear-piercing alarms sounded throughout the building.

On the rooftop of the building opposite the Cayonza Building, the person lying on the ground barely breathed. The high-precision target scanner firmly locked onto Liang Huan. In the virtual lens in front of him, the other chaotic crowds turned gray and white, only Liang Huan’s body glowing with a striking red.

He tapped his earpiece. “Mission successful. Dawn Project II officially launched. Chuān Bǎi will establish a high-intensity mental link with the Dawn Star in twenty minutes. All departments please prepare to fully copy the Dawn Project I black box within twenty-four hours.”

He stared intently at Liang Huan’s figure in the lens, and said in a deep voice, “Project initiation reporter: Secretary-General of Lin Chen’s Department…”

The remaining sounds were blurred by the whistling cold wind on the rooftop. He watched Liang Huan and Li Yao disappear into the crowd, moved his fingers taped with tape, picked up the light sniper rifle on the ground and slung it behind his back, and walked into the darkness.

The Cayonza Club was packed with people.

Cen Weng frowned and directed the bodyguards to maintain order. A bodyguard rushed over in a hurry. “President, it’s not good!”

A moment later, Cen Weng looked at Ling Zao’s unclosed eyes corpse and took half a step back. “How could District Chief Ling be here?!”

“I…I don’t know. We’ve been guarding the door all along. Mr. Ling hasn’t left the room at all.” The bodyguard said.

Shuang Ta was so frightened that he knelt by the door. “I…I knocked on the door, but Mr. Ling didn’t open it. I had no choice but to guard the door…”

Cen Weng forced himself to calm down. “Ling Zao can’t die in Cayonza, at least not now…You guard outside.”

He closed the door forcefully, staring intently at Ling Zao’s corpse, and dialed the communication.

A gentle voice came from the other side. “A Cen?”

Cen Weng bit his lip. “Mr. Yi, Ling Zao is dead.”

“Dead?” The person on the other side paused. “How did he die?”

“It’s not clear yet. He was tied to a chair, the outside window was broken, and looking at the wound, it seems to be a military light sniper.” Cen Weng said.

“Cen Weng, it was precisely because I valued your club’s security that I had that stupid Ling Zao hide in Cayonza. How did you handle things?”

Cen Weng lowered his head. “I’m sorry…”

“Forget it, he’s dead, so he’s dead.” The person on the other side sighed. “Relying on him to bring down Lin Chen was unrealistic anyway. Someone will go and handle it, you don’t need to be afraid.”

Cen Weng said, “I’m sorry, Mr. Yi. I’ve caused you trouble.”

“It’s not your fault. Be careful these two days.” The person on the other side laughed and hung up the communication.

Cen Weng breathed a sigh of relief, but the corner of his eye caught sight of a piece of medical patch packaging next to the sofa. The transparent material made it difficult to be found. He stepped forward, picked up the packaging, and brought it closer to the light next to him, seeing the raised identification code on it clearly.

    “Mercenary base?”

    ——

The burning wound on his shoulder caused Liang Huan to stagger, nearly slipping on the moss on the ground.

Li Yao grabbed one of his arms and draped it over his shoulder, frowning. “Are you okay?”

Liang Huan shook his head. “Let’s get out of here first.”

“The light sniper has extremely strong penetrating power. On the outside, it looks like a small wound, but the muscle tissue and bones inside have already been shattered into bits. It’ll take at least two hours to get back to the Black Market. By then, you’ll already be dead from radiation infection.” Li Yao gritted his teeth and lifted his body up a bit. “You need an immediate debridement.”

Liang Huan closed his eyes. His consciousness was beginning to blur uncontrollably. He forced himself to use his internal energy to suppress the dizziness. “Okay.”

Li Yao looked around at the buildings. A whistle came from upstairs. A man in a sundress peeked out his head with a smile. “Handsome, we meet again?”

A minute later, the sundress man looked at the two big men barging into his house, unable to suppress his excitement. “Together? Together is great! I don’t mind more—”

Li Yao tore open the miscellaneous blankets on his bed and placed Liang Huan on it. The sundress man couldn’t help screaming when he saw the blood on Liang Huan’s body.

“Shut up.” Li Yao put a gun to his forehead. “Get your medical kit out.”

“Wh…What medical kit? I don’t have a medical kit.” The sundress man burst into tears.

“The Red Light District distributes relief kits every year. They just distributed them last month.” Li Yao said fiercely.

“Ah! I know, that thing!” The sundress man suddenly realized, dragging out a few boxes from under the bed. “They’re all here. I’ve never used them. This stuff isn’t very useful anyway…”

Li Yao skillfully opened the medical kit, took out a tourniquet and disinfectant gloves, and turned to stare at the man. “I said, you operate.”

The sundress man trembled in fear. “I…I can’t do it! I can’t do it! I can’t.”

Li Yao said in a cold voice, “If you cry again, I’ll shoot you!”

The sundress man was so frightened that he immediately put on the gloves, but his hand trembled violently while holding the knife.

“Li Yao, you do it.” Liang Huan leaned against the head of the bed and closed his eyes. “Why make things difficult for him?”

Li Yao looked at him coldly. “My hands can’t complete such a high-precision debridement.”

“Then you can make hand rings?” Liang Huan smiled.

“Instrument assistance.” Li Yao said in a deep voice.

“I’ll assist you.” Liang Huan took the thin surgical knife from the sundress man’s hand and placed it in Li Yao’s hand. Then, with his uninjured right hand, he grabbed Li Yao’s hand. He stared into Li Yao’s eyes. “Li Yao, I won’t let your hand shake.”

Liang Huan’s palm was warm and strong, steadily gripping his wrist, leading him to insert the surgical knife into the wound on his shoulder. The posture was not convenient, and it would even make the wound hurt more, but Liang Huan didn’t even twitch his eyebrows, and could even forcibly stay awake and talk to him.

“I used to be assassinated often, although most of them didn’t succeed, there were also accidents.” Liang Huan said calmly, “Once at a banquet, I was also hit in the shoulder by an arrow. The arrow was coated with poison, and it nearly took my life. The imperial physician in the palace was shaking like a sieve when he removed the arrow for me. There was really no way, so I pulled it out myself.”

Li Yao raised his eyes to look at him.

Liang Huan smiled. “He was shaking worse than you, but I didn’t punish him. Don’t be afraid.”

“I’m not afraid.” Li Yao quickly cleaned out the flesh contaminated by radiation. “I’m shaking because my nerves weren’t repaired well before. In the past, I could have dissected you with plenty to spare.”

Liang Huan gently caressed the little black dragon on his wrist. “Then you’re really amazing.”

Treating these wounds was the most basic operation for Li Yao. Soon, he had cleaned Liang Huan’s wound, found the corresponding medicine from the medical kit, and forced it into Liang Huan’s mouth.

    Liang Huan glared at him.

“Eat it if you don’t want to die.” Li Yao covered his mouth. “Try spitting it out.”

“…” Liang Huan swallowed it down with forbearance. “You just wait.”

Li Yao quickly stuffed another handful into his mouth.

The pain kept Liang Huan conscious, but he didn’t let go of Li Yao’s wrist. He lowered his eyes and pondered for a moment. “There’s something I don’t understand.”

“What?” Li Yao raised his eyes to look at his pale face.

“If the other party wanted to kill Ling Zao, why did they attack me?” Liang Huan said, “And that shot clearly could have killed me directly, but it only pierced my shoulder… It’s very strange.”

Li Yao said, “Killing Ling Zao might be because of that military chip. He probably really knew something, but didn’t have time to tell us. Killing you—”

His tone paused slightly. “Maybe it’s because you’re no longer useful to them. You’re a traitorous spy who’s still causing such a big commotion in the Black Market. It wouldn’t be strange if the military wanted to kill you.”

    Liang Huan laughed.

“What are you laughing at?!” Li Yao said fiercely. “Don’t you think you’re dying fast enough?”

Liang Huan was dizzy, so he simply rested his forehead on his shoulder and laughed. “Now you should believe that I’m not with the military, right?”

Li Yao’s body stiffened. He sat on the side of the bed with his shoulders and back rigid. After a long while, he frowned, raised his hand, and placed it on Liang Huan’s waist. He cleared his throat uncomfortably. “Stop talking nonsense. When have I ever suspected you?”

    Liang Huan couldn’t help laughing.

“If you laugh again, I’ll throw you out the window.” Li Yao slapped him irritably.

“Hiss.” Liang Huan sucked in a breath.

Li Yao was startled. “You got shot in the waist too?”

Liang Huan closed his eyes and smiled. “No, it’s just that you used too much force. You nearly blew up my brain just now.”

“…Heh.” Li Yao sneered, but that hand stiffened in mid-air, unsure where to put it.

The sundress man, who had been tied up and forced to watch on the sidelines, looked anxious, and gave him hand signals with his mouth: ‘Put it on his waist—waist—’

Li Yao glared at him, clenched his fist, and righteously placed it on his knee.

The sundress man rolled his eyes, disappointed.

“Li Yao, I’m a little thirsty.” Liang Huan said.

Li Yao supported his shoulders to let him lean against the head of the bed, got up to pour him water, and Liang Huan pinched the discarded pills next to him into paper balls, looking at the scantily clad man.

The sundress man smiled at him with an ambiguous expression: “You can really pretend—ah~”

The paper ball hit his side of the neck, the huge force made him fall asleep directly.

Li Yao poured the water back and looked at the person lying on the ground. “What’s wrong with him?”

“Maybe…cough cough, sleepy.” Liang Huan coughed.

Li Yao immediately stopped caring about the sundress man, sat down on the side of the bed and handed him the water glass. “Drink it.”

Liang Huan struggled to straighten up and raised his hand to take it.

Li Yao was anxious. “Tsk, you should sit down quickly.”

Then he put the cup on his mouth.

“…” Liang Huan slowly took two sips and sighed softly. “I contacted Yuehang, he will bring people over in an hour.”

Li Yao nodded. “Your injury is not suitable for running around, it is not safe to go out, rest here first.”

Liang Huan suddenly stared at him. “Did you hear a current sound?”

Li Yao concentrated and listened for a moment, shook his head, but seeing Liang Huan frowned, he touched a simple detector. “I’ll take a look, maybe it’s the household’s electronic equipment.”

Liang Huan frowned, but felt that the current sound was accompanied by a strong dizziness getting more and more serious, he closed his eyes, and finally realized the source of the current sound, like it was in a certain place in his body… His frown got deeper.

Occasionally, the chip embedded in the wrist can hear a current sound, he doesn’t like it very much, so he later switched to an external chip, he can’t stand having uncontrollable things in his body, and the current sound makes him feel exceptionally irritable.

The wound on his shoulder became hotter and hotter, he grabbed the surgical knife next to him that was still stained with blood, held his breath, and finally found the source of the current sound–on the inside of his arm below the wound.

He grabbed the tourniquet next to him and tied it on his arm, the tip of the knife was aimed at the piece of skin, neatly stabbed in and picked out, and actually picked out a black chip the size and thickness of a fingernail.

The bloodstained chip made a familiar current sound.

Liang Huan picked it up and looked at it carefully, there was a string of almost invisible codes engraved on it, but the first few numbers were very familiar, exactly the same as the first numbers on Li Yao’s military chip… it was the military’s thing.

Rarely, Liang Huan’s heart popped out a swear word.

“No, maybe it’s because of the wound.” Li Yao’s voice rang from the living room, followed by footsteps.

Liang Huan threw the chip into his pocket, pulled down the bloodstained shirt, and looked up at him.

“Why is your face so pale?” Li Yao looked at the iron head of the bed, “Or do you want to find something to pad it?”

    “Yes.” Liang Huan nodded.

Li Yao picked up the lace pillow next to him that was full of perfume and looked at him.

    Liang Huan: “…”

Li Yao glanced at those pink blankets and said, “Or you can endure it.”

    “Come here.” Liang Huan said.

Li Yao walked to the side of the bed. “What? Drink water? Your Majesty, you are really difficult to serve when you are injured, this is not even considered to be on me-”

Liang Huan grabbed his wrist, and with a skillful force, he pulled him and sat on the head of the bed, Li Yao had not had time to sit up straight, Liang Huan righteously leaned on him, pressed him between himself and the head of the bed, becoming a perfect and comfortable human flesh cushion.

Li Yao’s arms were stiff beside him, he was like he was set with a body fixing spell, not knowing how to move, Liang Huan relaxed and leaned half of his body on him, his hair cut across his cheeks, Li Yao’s throat moved slightly. “What are you doing?”

“Those cushions are too dirty, you come.” Liang Huan closed his eyes with satisfaction, “I want to rest, don’t move around, being a cushion for me is your honor.”

In the past, other people could not get this honor even if they wanted it, in today’s language, he doesn’t like this kind of creatures called human very much, and he doesn’t like physical contact even more, it’s probably the shadow of his childhood, he always feels that both men and women are disgusting, fortunately he is the emperor, as long as he doesn’t want, no one dares to touch him.

But Li Yao can be counted as an exception.

Li Yao was amused by his righteousness and laughed. “You really take yourself as the emperor?”

“I am.” Liang Huan’s dizziness slowed down a little, he closed his eyes. “Your heart is beating too fast, it’s hurting my ears, relax.”

Li Yao bent a leg and stepped on the edge of the bed, changed to a more comfortable posture for him to lean on, and said badly. “It’s good to let you lean on, where do you get so much nonsense.”

Liang Huan laughed, took out Li Yao’s military chip and handed it to him. “The coding in front of your chip is unified by the military?”

“Yes.” Li Yao took the chip, “The first six digits represent the military, and the latter digits represent the different departments and mental and physical grade levels, the last four digits are the identity code.”

“What if they are all the same except for the last four digits?” Liang Huan asked.

    “Substitute.” Li Yao frowned.

    “Substitute?” Liang Huan squinted slowly.

“It’s complicated to explain, it can be understood as another meaning of cloning, which is equivalent to replacing the other party’s role and position, but this situation is rare, because there are usually alternate personnel for general operations.” Li Yao pinched the chip and poked his face, “Why did you suddenly ask this?”

“Just asking.” Liang Huan grabbed his wrist. “With Ling Zao’s death, the Black Market may be in trouble.”

“What are you going to do?” Li Yao asked.

Liang Huan subconsciously caressed his wrist, lowered his eyes and stared at the chip. “Naturally, strike first to gain the upper hand.”

Li Yao’s wrist was grabbed and was inexplicably uncomfortable, just about to open his mouth to speak, his eyes suddenly had a vertigo, mental connection came unexpectedly, every bone in his body became faintly hot, he was about to push Liang Huan away, but the powerful mental connection almost made him unable to move.

Liang Huan was also dizzy and out of control, he clearly felt Li Yao’s mental power after the connection, which was much better than before, but the current sound in his ear gradually became louder, he immediately thought of the chip he dug out.

The decision was made in an instant, he decisively crushed the chip, and the mental connection stopped abruptly.

Before the astonishment in Li Yao’s eyes had time to rise, Liang Huan touched his pulse and sealed a few of his xue positions. “Are you okay?”

Li Yao stared at him with a complicated expression. “Just now, it was a forced mental connection, which was much higher than our previous connection.”

He had no doubt that the strength just now had reached more than 90%, and he even had the illusion that his mental source would be completely invaded by Liang Huan, “This situation generally requires instrument assistance… used to copy precise information.”

“It’s this thing, I just found it from my arm.” Liang Huan handed him the crushed chip.

Although the chip was damaged, the numbers on it were still vaguely discernible, except for the last four digits, the numbers in front were exactly the same as Li Yao’s chip.

Li Yao looked at the chip and fell silent.

“I was worried that you would misunderstand, so I didn’t take it out.” Liang Huan said calmly, “If you run away now, I’m seriously injured and can’t catch up with you.”

“Substitute chip, and you still say you’re not a military person?” Li Yao raised an eyebrow.

The intimate and beautiful atmosphere just now suddenly disappeared.

Liang Huan sighed. “If I wanted to, you would not have been able to interrupt the mental connection just now.”

Li Yao twitched the corner of his mouth. “Makes sense.”

“Now you should open your heart to me, right?” Liang Huan said. “My heart is almost broken by you.”

Li Yao reached out and touched his heart. Before Liang Huan could react, the hand ring turned into a gun, and Li Yao smiled casually. “But in any case, it’s still safest to kill you, what do you think?”

Liang Huan smiled and opened his hands. “As you wish.”

The hand that Li Yao was holding the gun slowly tightened, the smile on Liang Huan’s face gradually deepened, calm and determined, the next second, the pistol turned into a hand ring again, he was pinched by the neck and pressed into the perfume carpet, someone viciously and violently kissed on.

    A raw, chaotic, violent kiss.

Liang Huan raised his hand and clasped the back of Li Yao’s neck and pressed him into his arms, not fast or slow, responding to him, and the chase between the lips and teeth also brought a meaning of refusing to admit defeat, he likes Li Yao’s arrogance and violence, not very skillfully responded to the other party, taking advantage of the moment when he was panting, he took over and invaded without resistance.

The chaotic fragrance, the creaking iron bed and the painful wound made him feel an indescribable excitement and stimulation.

Far better than life hanging by a thread.

The sundress man, who was quietly waking up in the corner, looked at the scene in front of him in shock, and suddenly met a cold gaze.

Liang Huan hugged Li Yao and leaned on the head of the bed, domineeringly and forcefully wrapping his arms around Li Yao’s waist and back, and put his other hand on the back of Li Yao’s neck, and pressed the people he realized were breathing and trying to turn their heads back to his shoulders.

Li Yao bit his neck fiercely.

A satisfied smile appeared on Liang Huan’s face, the sundress man was frightened by his stare, and hit his head on the wall again and fainted again.

    Liang Huan chuckled.

“… Damn.” Li Yao cursed in a low voice, intending to push the man away, but was held back by Liang Huan.

Liang Huan grabbed Li Yao’s hair, forcing the other party to raise his head, and put a gentle kiss on his Adam’s apple.
