MAPF Chapter 6
by BLReadsChapter 6: Useless, Seems Size Isn’t the Issue
Actually, Xie Shiwei really hates sharing a bed with others.
He became independent too early, experienced many bad things, doesn’t trust others, and dislikes anyone stepping into his safe zone. When he lived at school, he was assigned to the lower bunk near the door, and he hated when people casually sat on his bed. He would wipe his sheets with alcohol for a long time if someone’s butt touched them, wishing he could just wash them. Let alone sleeping with a man who he barely knew and who was impotent.
It’s hard to say who finds whom more disgusting, but at this moment, they have no choice.
Over there, He Qin turned a deaf ear to Xie Shiwei’s slightly flattering calls and remained unmoved.
Xie Shiwei wearily added, “He Qin, my dad said that if we have a good marriage, the cooperation between our families will go well. If you get labeled as neglecting me on the first day of our marriage, it won’t be good for the He family either. Then your marriage will be for nothing.”
“I promise I’ll only put on an act in front of Uncle Wang. Once he leaves, I’ll immediately go sleep on the sofa bed in the theater room.”
He Qin sighed deeply and pinched his brow wearily.
Xie Shiwei’s words made sense. Even if this was a tactic of retreating to advance, he had no choice but to comply. He helplessly closed his computer, leaving only a floor lamp by the bedside, walked to the bed, and looked down at Xie Shiwei: “I’ll go to the theater room, you stay here.”
“It’s true that it was my family’s party security that was inadequate, causing you to fall into the pool in winter. This kind of thing won’t happen again in the future, and I will take responsibility for taking care of you.”
Xie Shiwei was flattered and only managed to utter the word “thank you” after a long while.
Under the gentle, dim yellow light of the floor lamp, He Qin’s cold face was less sharp and had a touch more humanity.
Xie Shiwei looked at him and suddenly felt some sympathy.
Having the face of a peerless handsome man and a great body, but being useless down there is a deep scar for a man. He Qin is still unaware of this. When he gets together with Bai An later and they’re deeply in love, what a blow it will be when he finds out he can’t do it.
Xie Shiwei fell into memories of that aphrodisiac literature, his gaze unconsciously sliding from He Qin’s face down, along his upper body, all the way to a certain indescribable location.
Xie Shiwei looked very carefully, trying to discern the vaguely visible parts under the fabric, thinking that it wasn’t small even in its normal state. It seems that the problem isn’t size, but purely a functional issue. He shook his head and sighed, feeling sorry, completely unaware that He Qin was about to explode.
He Qin was very perceptive. He only took two steps forward when he noticed Xie Shiwei’s eyes constantly moving down, finally lingering in a certain spot. His eyes were dazed, carrying a strange inquiry and some strange emotions that he couldn’t decipher.
He Qin’s right eyelid twitched three times in a row, desperately suppressing his anger, and trying to speak calmly, “Xie Shiwei, stop looking.”
Xie Shiwei was immersed in sympathy and didn’t hear him.
He Qin felt like his temples were starting to throb, and angrily said, “I said, stop looking!”
Xie Shiwei shuddered, realized what He Qin was talking about, felt embarrassed to his toes, quickly dove into the blanket, turned his back to He Qin, and lied, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to… I was just spacing out, and it just happened!”
He Qin couldn’t bear it any longer and told Xie Shiwei to shut up. He took three deep breaths and finally lifted the blanket and lay down.
The clock on the wall struck eleven o’clock, and the butler knocked on the door on time: “Young Master, may I come in?”
Xie Shiwei said, “Come in,” and remotely opened the combination lock.
Butler Wang pushed open the door and craned his neck to inspect the room. The curtains were drawn, the perfume scent was faint, there was no noise, only the bedside lamp was still on, but it was passable. He took away Xie Shiwei’s medicine bowl, walked to the bed, looked at the Mariana Trench-like gap between the two of them, and snorted from his nose: “Mr. He, the young master likes to sleep with a stuffed animal. There isn’t one on the bed, so you’ll have to put up with it and let him hug you to sleep.”
Xie Shiwei protested: “Uncle Wang, I’m already grown up, I don’t like to sleep hugging things…”
Uncle Wang said indulgently: “Alright, you still insisted on sleeping with a large pink pig last week. Don’t be shy in front of me.”
Xie Shiwei: “……”
His gaze wandered between He Qin and Butler Wang. He Qin had his eyes closed, unable to tell his mood. Butler Wang, on the other hand, looked like he wouldn’t leave unless he hugged He Qin. And Xie Shiwei was now very sleepy, he needed to sleep early.
There was no other way. Xie Shiwei rustled around, turned over, looked at He Qin’s muscular body under his pajamas, steeled his heart, rolled over, and tentatively put his arm around He Qin’s waist. Afraid of not meeting the butler’s strict standards, he leaned forward and rested his head on He Qin’s pillow.
From Butler Wang’s perspective, Xie Shiwei’s face was buried in He Qin’s shoulder. He said considerately: “Good, just sleep like this. The young master’s body is weak now, so don’t think about anything too exciting. Mr. He, don’t even think about it. Everything will wait until the young master’s body recovers.”
He Qin was already disgusted enough by Xie Shiwei’s closeness. Hearing these words, he wished he could throw this nagging old man and Xie Shiwei out together.
Xie Shiwei was also very embarrassed, but there was also a hint of throbbing and shyness in his embarrassment. He peeked at He Qin, whose brows were slightly furrowed and whose waist and abdomen were tense, in a very defensive state. Although they weren’t completely close, his fingers were touching He Qin’s lean and powerful waist through a layer of silk pajamas and were already burning. His face was also uncontrollably hot.
Heaven knows this was the first time in Xie Shiwei’s two lifetimes that he had been so close to a man, especially a top-tier man like He Qin with such perfect looks. It was only natural to be a little shy.
After Butler Wang finished his instructions, he checked the room’s cleanliness again and found the table dirty. He wiped it five times with a dusting cloth. He also saw that the green plants on the windowsill were a bit wilted, picked up a watering can, and sprayed them six times, not leaving for a long time. Gradually, Xie Shiwei’s arm, which he had been holding up in the air, gradually became sore and trembled slightly.
He Qin felt Xie Shiwei’s arm trembling. Annoyed by Butler Wang, he closed his eyes and said, “Butler Wang, Shiwei is sleepy, I’m going to turn off the lights, you can go out first.”
Xie Shiwei felt a tingle in his heart.
He Qin’s deep and magnetic voice calling him Shiwei sounded very intimate, although it was insincere, it was really bewitching.
Butler Wang oh-ed and said, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m used to worrying, I’m disturbing you two’s rest, I’ll leave now!” He turned off the floor lamp, his triangular eyes narrowing into slits as he smiled, “I’ll come to deliver the medicine tomorrow morning, see you then, Young Master.”
The room was pitch black. Xie Shiwei pretended to be muddled and hummed twice, thinking in his heart, “Goodbye, don’t bother seeing me off.”
The door opened and closed again, and Butler Wang’s figure finally disappeared.
Xie Shiwei quickly withdrew his hand, rolled back to the safe zone on the edge of the bed in the opposite direction, and rubbed his sore and stiff arm: “Uncle Wang is gone, we don’t have to lie together anymore.”
He Qin turned on the light again, narrowed his eyes to scrutinize Xie Shiwei, and held up a number two, being stingy with words: “What number is this?”
Xie Shiwei hesitated and said, “Two?”
“Two plus two equals what?”
“Four…”
“Four times two?”
“Eight…”
“Eight minus four?”
“…”
As Xie Shiwei answered, he figured it out. He was now too sensible, too abnormally different, He Qin was testing whether he had really damaged his brain.
Using such idiotic questions to test him, was the original owner really this stupid…
Just as Xie Shiwei was about to open his mouth and deliver his prepared speech of “suddenly waking up, accepting everything, and willing to divorce,” He Qin, with his iceberg face, opened the small door leading to the adjacent theater room without looking back and went in, leaving a sentence before locking the door: “I’ll be back before the butler comes tomorrow morning.”
Okay, I’ll have to say it next time.
The room became Xie Shiwei’s private domain. The faint scent of flowers, the soft and comfortable bed where he could roll around without falling off, and the faint sound of the waves outside the window.
Like a dream prepared for him.
Xie Shiwei was mentally and physically exhausted and instantly fell asleep wrapped in the soft cotton blanket. Unfortunately, the dream he had wasn’t pleasant.
.
In the dream, Xie Shiwei returned to many years ago, to that dark, cramped, and humid tenement building.
The sound of pounding on the door tore through the tranquility of the morning.
“Xie Shiwei, pay back the money quickly!! If you don’t pay back the money your old man owes, who will?!”
The young Xie Shiwei woke up with a start from an iron bed less than a meter wide, looked out through the crack in the door, and saw three burly men standing in a circle, blocking the door.
He wanted to jump out the window and slip away, but the choking smell of the men smoking wafted in, and he couldn’t help but sneeze, exposing his presence.
The strong men outside the door instantly perked up, smashing and cursing: “I knew you were in there! What are you doing, acting like a coward? Did you think you didn’t have to pay back the money just because your parents died? Open the door quickly!”
The iron door was kicked loudly, and the neighbors next door impatiently shouted not to make so much noise, and Xie Shiwei’s eardrums were about to explode.
He stood in the dark room of less than thirty square meters, his nails digging deep into his palms, and finally yanked open the door, holding a large, gleaming kitchen knife in his hand.
The three big men were stunned: “What are you doing!”
Xie Shiwei said indifferently: “I will pay the money back, but not now. If you insist on me taking out so much money now, I can only fight you to the death.”
“Are you kidding me, do you dare?”
Xie Shiwei smiled, suddenly raised his arm and smashed forward, the back of the knife flashing with cold light flew past the three big men, and with a loud bang, it chopped into the wooden door frame.
The three big men began to shiver, took three steps back, threw in a notice of loan repayment, spat, and left.
Xie Shiwei’s thin back was soaked with cold sweat, and he slid down the wall to the ground weakly, his hands uncontrollably shaking.
He was only ten years old, and he had no relatives, only creditors.
Parents who gambled away their family property, gangsters who came to collect debts every three days, a tragic car accident that made the news, relatives who kicked him around like a ball after his parents died…
The gray and gloomy teenage years would always appear in his dreams, making him frightened and unable to breathe.
.
He Qin woke up at exactly six thirty in the morning and washed up as usual.
He has a strict biological clock and only needs a small amount of sleep to maintain his energy throughout the day, even if he is under the same roof as someone he hates, he will not be affected.
The bedroom faced south, the morning sun rose from the sea, and the sunlight shone through the curtains, dimly illuminating the room. Xie Shiwei was curled up in a corner of the big bed, his face seemed to have a painful expression, his hands were tightly clutching the blanket, cold sweat slid from his forehead, and he was still entangled with nightmares.
He Qin watched him silently for a while, wet a towel, lifted Xie Shiwei’s soft hair from his forehead, and placed the towel on his forehead.
Xie Shiwei had not yet escaped from the nightmare, vaguely feeling a warmth on his forehead, as if the sunlight had dispelled the darkness that had lingered around him all night.
He felt confused, opened his eyes dimly, subconsciously grabbed the large palm in front of him, and begged: “Don’t drive me away, I’m very obedient.”
Please don’t drive me away.
Tears welled up and slid from the corners of his eyes, wetting his long and thick eyelashes into clumps.
He Qin’s hand was tightly grasped by Xie Shiwei. He had never seen such a fragile Xie Shiwei before, didn’t pull his hand away, just looked down at the person on the bed, and asked, “You also have nightmares?”
“I thought someone like you, who has a smooth and carefree life, never has nightmares.”
