Chapter 6: Doing It As Soon As You Say It

    “Zhi Xu, it’s just consensual, I don’t…”

Tan Zhi Xu pulled his hand out, turned off the projector with a snap, tightened his grip around her waist, scooped under her legs, and lifted her into his arms.

Seeing him head towards the bedroom, Zhu Shihao asked, “Did you buy the implements of crime?”

He lowered his eyes to glance at her, his steps unwavering, “I’ll buy them now.”

She quickly understood what “buying them now” meant.

He carried her into the bathroom, and after setting her down, Tan Zhi Xu reached out and patted her bottom, casually instructing, “Wash yourself, I’ll order takeout and wash up in the other bathroom.”

    Zhu Shihao: “…”

Considering that the “takeout” was going to be delivered, she could only be thankful it wasn’t at her place.

Later, his strong, toned body was burning hot, scalding her skin until she was covered in a mist of moisture, along with beads of sweat dripping down her body.

For the first time, Zhu Shihao was seeing the man before her from this angle, seeing him like this for the first time, full of desire, restrained yet faintly restless. She raised her hand to touch his face.

She just stared at him with hazy eyes, watching his movements.

Tan Zhi Xu picked up the thin little packet and tore it open with his teeth.

Rarely, she heard him curse under his breath, “Damn, so tight.”

His eyes cleared up a bit, and Zhu Shihao couldn’t help but laugh.

Meeting his deep gaze, she instead wrapped her arms around his neck, “Turns out, it was a virgin’s innocence.”

Tan Zhi Xu gave her a deep look, scoffed, and said, “Don’t worry, small as it is, I’ll still be able to fuck you senseless tonight.”

He silenced her mouth and his hands were not idle either, making havoc on her body, stirring her everywhere.

He lowered his waist, his voice husky, “Relax.”

Zhu Shihao had long been drowning in the intense pleasure he gave her, and her already muddled mind cleared up at this moment. She gasped, “I want to, too.”

As she spoke, she thought of something, raised her eyes to look at him.

One hand, which was wrapped around his neck, caressed his sweaty face, her voice soft and gentle.

“Zhi Xu, it’s just consensual, I don’t need you to be responsible.”

Tan Zhi Xu gritted his teeth, and a hint of obscure rage arose within him. He stared intently at the person beneath him, “You’re right, it’s just consensual, looks like you’re ready.”

As soon as the words left his mouth, he didn’t give her any more time, and launched his assault. Only when he heard her broken voice did he slow down a little, bending down to kiss away the tears at the corner of her eyes.

She didn’t know how much time had passed, Zhu Shihao was completely exhausted and drowsy, and he carried her to take a shower.

Back in bed, she seemed to hear his low voice as she drifted off to sleep.

    “Okay, I’ll listen to you.”

The next day, Zhu Shihao was still dazed when she was woken up.

She sat up and cleared her head, then turned to look at someone sitting at the bedside waiting for her to recover, surprised, “What time is it? Aren’t you going to work?”

Tan Zhi Xu looked nonchalant, not caring at all, “Took a day off, took one for you too.”

He wouldn’t just run off after a night of pleasure, leaving her alone here the next day. Even if he didn’t know if she cared about whether she could see him when she woke up, he at least hoped he was there.

Zhu Shihao asked him doubtfully, “How did you get me a day off?”

“That Sasha from your shop called to ask when you would be checking the first batch of large goods, I said you wouldn’t be going in the morning.”

Zhu Shihao was silent for a moment: “…Then why did you wake me up?”

Tan Zhi Xu unceremoniously lowered his head and bit her lip, raising his eyebrows slightly, “To get up for breakfast.”

She knew it would be something like that.

But she wanted to sleep more right now.

Thinking like this, she was about to fall back into the covers, but someone stopped her with a hand on her waist. The current Tan Zhi Xu was completely different from the one last night, like two different people. His eyes were indifferent, his face was so calm it could be said that he had no expression, and his tone was extremely flat.

“Get up, sleep after you eat.”

In that instant, she suddenly wanted to go against him, to break his calm.

So she shook her head, refusing, “I want to sleep.”

Tan Zhi Xu stared at her, repeating again, “Sleep after you eat.”

Zhu Shihao still shook her head: “But I don’t want to eat right now, I just want to sleep.”

In the face-off, both had made their intentions very clear.

After a full two minutes, a hint of helplessness appeared between Tan Zhi Xu’s brows. He first pressed his forehead, then reached out and tidied the messy hair by her ear.

“I ordered porridge, is it okay if I bring it over to you?”

This man had always been more concerned about her three meals a day than her parents, so this was already a step back, allowing her to stay in bed and wait for food to be brought to her.

    Zhu Shihao’s mood improved.

“Forget it, I’ll get up, I still have to wash up.”

    “Need any help?”

Zhu Shihao paused for a moment, waving her hand, “No need.”

Hearing this, he simply raised an eyebrow, not leaving, just sitting on the bed and looking at her leisurely, leaning back slightly, with his hands propped up on the bed.

Zhu Shihao saw his meaning and pretended to be normal, lifting the blanket and getting out of bed.

There was a moment of stiffness, biting her teeth secretly, but she still endured it and walked towards the bathroom.

Seeing this, Tan Zhi Xu raised an eyebrow, didn’t say anything more, got up and walked to the door, lightly saying as she was about to close the door, “Call me if you need anything.”

Closing the door, Zhu Shihao propped her hands on the sink to support herself. It didn’t hurt, she was just weak and had no strength.

He had really gnawed on her inside and out, without any restraint, torturing and domineering. The intensity and heat felt like they were still lingering.

She washed her face and brushed her teeth, touched her own face. The washcloth and toothbrush were fine, but she didn’t have any skin care products, she didn’t put any on last night. She looked at the small bottles in front of her and reached out her hand.

There was a knock on the door.

    “Did you fall in?”

Zhu Shihao patted her face in the mirror and turned to leave.

Opening the door, this man was leaning lazily against the doorframe, raising his eyes when he heard the door open, his face still carrying a coolness that hadn’t faded away, then turned and disappeared, becoming that indifferent look again.

    He scanned her, “Feeling okay?”

Zhu Shihao softly responded, “Yes, I’m okay.”

A familiar scent wafted over, and Tan Zhi Xu suddenly leaned towards her, the distance between the two instantly closing.

Zhu Shihao resisted the urge to move, watching him lower his head and sniff lightly near her cheek, the tip of his nose seemingly touching her, his breath clearly hitting her face.

    “Used mine?”

There was no hint of inquiry in his words.

The area hit by the heat became damp and itchy, Zhu Shihao restrained the instinct to touch it, pretending to be normal and asking him, “Can’t I use it?”

He straightened up lazily, “Use it, where can’t you use it now?” A laugh that had an unclear meaning overflowed from his throat.

Just as she was secretly wondering if she should say something spirited again, she heard his voice.

“Let’s go, you’ll have strength after you eat.”

    Zhu Shihao: “…”

He could see it, he should have said it earlier.

After eating breakfast, Tan Zhi Xu put the disposable tableware back into the bag and placed it by the door. He washed his hands, got into bed and lay down next to her, reached out and wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her into his arms.

Zhu Shihao didn’t struggle, obediently sleeping on his arm, rubbing against his shoulder, grabbing the clothes on his chest with one hand, and putting the other on his taut waist.

His low voice came from above her head.

    “Sleep.”

Tan Zhi Xu kissed her on the top of her head, tightening his arm.

After lunch that day, they each drove their own cars to work.

Zhu Shihao had been a little worried that after this intimate encounter, they would feel awkward about their new relationship, or that she would reveal something in this change.

But she didn’t expect to receive a message from Tan Zhi Xu the next day saying that he was going on a business trip.

For a moment, she couldn’t help but think, did he regret it? Did he still feel like he couldn’t face her?

But as time passed, she deliberately sped up the pace of her work, and as she watched him send messages from time to time reminding her about her three meals and her routine, her heart gradually settled down.

At least, he didn’t distance himself from her or block her, did he?

Before she knew it, it was Friday, and the new goods for the next Taobao event had arrived. She was randomly looking at them in the studio when her phone rang. She glanced at the name and casually turned on the speakerphone.

“Hello, Shihao, are you free tomorrow?” Zhu Suiyi asked her.

“Isn’t tomorrow Saturday? Yes, why?” She casually replied.

Zhu Suiyi breathed a sigh of relief, winking at her husband, indicating that it was a success, “Then can you take Tian Zai for us tomorrow? Your brother-in-law and I have plans.”

Yu Jianmin nodded solemnly, gesturing for her to continue.

Zhu Shihao paused, raising her chin towards Sasha, gesturing for her to take over. She turned and walked towards the door, “Plans? What plans can you have on the weekend?”

The other end giggled twice, “Anyway, we have something to do. Just tell me, are you taking her or not? Jia Jia loves her Aunt most.”

Knowing her tricks like the back of her hand, Zhu Shihao snorted softly.

“I’ll take her, but you better be sincere, the trust between sisters can’t stand the wear and tear of lies.”

Giving Yu Jianmin an “OK” sign, Zhu Suiyi said the truth with a smile,

“Okay, your brother-in-law and I are going to have some alone time. Shopping in the morning, eating French food for lunch, watching a movie in the afternoon. We’ll come back before dinner to take her out for a children’s meal since you can’t handle her at night. Considerate, right?”

She guessed it would be something like that.

Returning to her design studio, she sat down on the rocking chair and gently rocked, “Very considerate, you really know how to plan, and you even know to take her out for a children’s meal to make up for it. What about me, what are the benefits for me?”

Zhu Suiyi pondered briefly, “Introduce you to a boyfriend? We just had a handsome young man come to our company, selected and transferred in, not even 25 years old. Although he’s only average in looks, he has a good temper.”

Matching her sister with him would be barely acceptable, but he was easy to handle.

Thinking like this, she felt that her sister was losing out even more, completely not considering whether the average-looking young man would be willing.

Zhu Shihao was speechless, declining her offer, “Having Mom is not enough? Don’t cause me any more trouble. Fine, bring Jia Jia over to me tomorrow.”

Zhu Suiyi nodded repeatedly, even reminding her, “Ten o’clock, I’ll deliver her on time, you have to sign for her in person.”

Hanging up the phone, she smiled, “Deliver and sign for? Are you delivering a person or a package?” She shook her head.

Before going to bed, she thought about getting up early, but she had always been a heavy sleeper since she was a child. Unless it was absolutely necessary, it was hard for her to get out of bed before noon on weekends.

After turning off two alarms in a row, she was awakened once again by a child’s voice.

“Lazy pig, get up, lazy pig, get…”

She opened her eyes and saw a small head leaning over the bed.

Jia Jia paused, then shouted, “Mom, Auntie’s up.”

Zhu Suiyi came in, leaning against the door, “Oh, our lazy pig is up.”

She sat up, rubbing her hair.

    “Stop teaching her random things.”

Looking at her younger sister, her sister raised an eyebrow in surprise, “Need me to teach her? She remembers your address very well, she said she was going to come over and be an alarm clock in the car.”

Bending over to ruffle Jia Jia’s hair, and pinching her chubby little face, Zhu Shihao asked her, “Did you miss Auntie?”

Jia Jia nodded, “Yes, Mommy said Auntie would take me to the park today.”

Slowly withdrawing her hand, Zhu Shihao turned to look, only to see her sister with a guilty and ingratiating expression.

Slowly revealing a smile, “Very good, you’ve planned my outings for me too.”

Zhu Suiyi took out her phone, looking anxious, “Oh dear, your brother-in-law’s calling, he’s still waiting in the car, I’ll go first. Jia Jia, you stay with Auntie, take care of Auntie, okay?”

Jia Jia patted her protruding little belly, looking serious, “Don’t worry, I promise to watch Auntie eat properly.”

Zhu Suiyi smiled at her sister and quickly ran away.

Leaving the big one and the little one facing each other, Jia Jia said earnestly, “Auntie, get up quickly, I brought you milk.”

Zhu Shihao touched her head again, gently smiling, “Okay, Auntie will get up now, thank you, Jia Jia.”

Jia Jia was a clever and quick-witted little girl who could listen and be reasoned with. After promising her that she would take her to the park to play in the afternoon, she spent the morning drawing and telling stories at home.

This was a favorite indoor activity for her, after all, Auntie drew the best in her memory, better than the teachers at kindergarten.

Considering her, Zhu Shihao changed the menu based on the available ingredients in the refrigerator to make it more suitable for a three-year-old child.

After eating and playing for a while, she finally patted her to sleep.

Just as she was relaxing, sitting on the sofa and about to find something to pass the time, she heard the doorbell ring.

Feeling strange, she put down her legs curled up on the sofa, stepped on the carpet and got up, put on her slippers, guessing who it was. A single woman’s alertness made her not open the door directly, and looked through the peephole.

The person outside seemed to have a telepathic sense and looked up, they seemed to be looking at each other through the small peephole.

Zhu Shihao first felt a tightness in her heart, then her heartbeat quickened rapidly. Her hand opened the door, revealing the tall man outside.

Tan Zhi Xu raised his eyes to look at her, looking at each other for a while, then lightly asked, “Don’t recognize me? Or not going to let me in?”
