Chapter 16: The Omega at the Aristocratic School 16 “Want to try if I’m…

Ji Chengyu keenly heard something. He pulled out his phone, found Lu Qingyun’s contact, and decisively dialed the number.

Separated by a door, the vibration was exceptionally clear. Lu Qingyun’s phone buzzed incessantly in his pocket, but its owner was still pressed against the door, being kissed.

“I hear a sound. You’re inside. Lu Qingyun, speak!”

“If you don’t speak, I’m going to break the door down…”

Lu Chi breathed heavily, pulling back slightly. He gently ran a hand through Lu Qingyun’s hair and whispered, “You need to answer him, or he’ll come in.”

Lu Qingyun wanted nothing more than to kill Lu Chi with his eyes, but at this moment, he had to calm down. He raised his voice slightly and replied, “I’m taking a shower.”

After a moment of silence, a voice came through the door panel from outside.

“Is that so… Could you open the door? I’m a little worried.”

“Then I’ll take that as your permission.”

Before Ji Chengyu finished speaking, he pushed hard on the door. This time, the door opened easily.

Ji Chengyu walked in, glancing around before finally settling his gaze on Lu Qingyun.

Lu Qingyun was standing not far from the door. His hair was slightly messy, and his clothes hung loosely on his body, crookedly, as if the wearer hadn’t put them on properly. He looked somewhat like a crumpled piece of paper. There were several red marks on his arms, which were particularly noticeable because Lu Qingyun was so fair. It did look like he had just finished showering, except…

Ji Chengyu’s peripheral vision swept over the adjacent bathroom. He smiled and approached Lu Qingyun.

As the distance between them closed, his eyes widened slightly, and his voice grew louder, as if he wanted someone to hear him.

“Oh, Brother, why are your lips so red?”

He used the same address he had used the first time he called Lu Qingyun, asking the question with exaggerated surprise.

He had grounds for saying this. Lu Qingyun’s lips were too obvious. The originally pink lips were now sucked red, and upon closer inspection, there were traces of being rubbed hard by a hand.

As his gaze swept past, it paused involuntarily, and he felt a pang of sourness in his heart.

Lu Qingyun lifted his eyes, glanced at him, and said coldly through gritted teeth, “I bumped them.”

Ji Chengyu forced a smile, then, while advising Lu Qingyun to drink more water, he steered the conversation back to the main topic.

He brought it up seemingly casually, “Are you the only one here?”

Seeing Lu Qingyun nod, Ji Chengyu looked at him suspiciously and asked, “Where is he?”

    “He left.”

Ji Chengyu nodded, but slowly retreated two steps, stopping at the bathroom door.

A smile was plastered on his face, making him look like a complete wolf in sheep’s clothing. He asked calmly, “Is that so? Then why do I think I heard a sound in here?”

The air thickened for a moment. Lu Qingyun’s heart inexplicably sped up. Although he had no relationship with either of these two people, why did he feel strangely like he was being caught in the act?

Ji Chengyu dropped the smile on his face, suddenly quickened his pace, put his hand on the bathroom doorknob, and pushed the door open.

Ji Chengyu walked into the bathroom after opening the door, scanning the entire space. He stepped forward and pushed open the inner shower room door. The door hit the wall with a dull thud, and Ji Chengyu’s face darkened.

Because the shower room was empty…

Lu Qingyun didn’t follow him in. He retreated a few steps, pulled out his chair, and slowly sat down with his hands clasped in front of him.

When Ji Chengyu emerged from the bathroom, he was looking down, his expression somewhat strange.

Lu Qingyun raised an eyebrow and looked over, his gaze sweeping past the man’s shifting face and locking onto his eyes, silently questioning his intentions.

Ji Chengyu closed the bathroom door with one hand, his eyes falling on the balcony window behind the boy. The balcony door was closed, and through the window, clothes hanging outside could be seen. Perhaps the wind was blowing, causing the hems to sway. His fingers curled and then opened. After a moment of composure, he lowered his gaze and looked away, a perfect arc forming on his lips as he slowly explained, “A man has three urgent needs, you know…”

Lu Qingyun nodded in agreement, saying nothing and not exposing him. He knew that this meant the matter was over, and Ji Chengyu wouldn’t rush past him into the balcony again. The boy relaxed his body slightly, leaning back in the chair in a comfortable posture.

Just when Ji Chengyu thought he wouldn’t speak again, Lu Qingyun suddenly pursed his lips, seemingly holding something back, and then let out a teasing remark.

    “You’re quite fast, then.”

    “…………?”

The comment was strange but made sense. Ji Chengyu was silent for a moment before he couldn’t help but chuckle softly.

Lu Qingyun could sometimes be quite sharp-tongued. Ji Chengyu’s gaze shifted from the boy’s half-smiling face to his lips. They were too obvious, kissed a vibrant red, clearly having been sucked in someone’s mouth for a long time, their surface moist and very alluring.

A hint of mischief flashed across Ji Chengyu’s face, and an ambiguous smile appeared at the corner of his mouth. He stepped closer to Lu Qingyun, placing one hand on the back of the chair and leaning in slightly, enveloping the boy beneath him. His voice was soft and gentle.

“Brother, do you want to try me?”

A muffled sound came from the balcony, like something hitting the door, suddenly penetrating the door panel and reaching both their ears. Ji Chengyu’s lips twitched slightly. Seeing Lu Qingyun about to turn his head to check the noise, he gripped the chair with his large hand and dragged it closer to himself, forcefully pulling the person’s attention back.

Lu Qingyun’s eyes widened for an instant, and then he frowned upon realizing what happened.

Ji Chengyu’s eyes lit up, and he let out a soft laugh. He instinctively reached out and smoothed Lu Qingyun’s hair, tidying the boy’s messy strands.

His thoughts were active, and soon he returned to the previous topic.

“Brother, you still haven’t answered me.”

    “?”

Ji Chengyu leaned in slightly, close to the Omega’s ear, and spoke maliciously, “Do you want to try just how fast I am?”

    “………………”

Lu Qingyun felt the urge to rub his head. His mouth opened slightly, but he said nothing. He turned sideways and stood up, then suddenly spoke in a calm, detached manner.

“Ji Chengyu, something just occurred to me. Outside our school, take two consecutive left turns down two alleys, and then you’ll see a wall. It’s quite strange; I discovered it last time. You should go take a look when you have time.”

Now it was Ji Chengyu’s turn to be stunned. The man’s expression went blank for a moment before recovering his smile. He simply assumed Lu Qingyun was shy and trying to change the subject.

Lu Qingyun didn’t look at him again. He pressed his hand on the desk, tapping the surface lightly with two fingers, issuing a clear dismissal.

“If there’s nothing else, you can leave.”

Ji Chengyu glanced at the balcony again, then back at Lu Qingyun. He scanned the boy’s cold expression, shrugged, and turned to leave.

As he reached the Dormitory door, he placed a hand on the doorknob and paused. Ji Chengyu turned back and reminded him, “October 3rd, remember to come.”

The man finished speaking, opened the door, and left. The sound of his footsteps gradually faded, and the Dormitory returned to silence.

Lu Qingyun stood for a moment, then dragged his chair into position. He turned to face the balcony, placing the chair in front of him.

Lu Qingyun took a deep breath, his jawline taut, and spoke in a louder voice, “Come out.”

The balcony doorknob was pressed down, and as the door opened, a man dressed in black stepped out. Lu Chi had just crossed the balcony threshold with one foot.

Lu Qingyun glanced down, then kicked the chair out. The heavy chair scraped across the floor with a loud, grating sound that echoed in the Dormitory. Accompanied by the unpleasant noise, as if cheering Lu Qingyun on, the chair slammed violently toward Lu Chi.

In a flash, Lu Chi swiftly dodged backward, but one of his legs was still struck by the back of the chair.

    “Ah… damn it!”

[Villain Points +3. Host, please note that 100 Villain Points must be accumulated for the second mission to be considered successful. Current progress is 21/100.]

Lu Chi hissed in pain. After recovering for a moment, he looked up, gazing pitifully at the perpetrator.

He was slightly bent over in pain. The boy in front of him had a tight jawline, his face slightly tilted up, his eyes looking down, surveying him with cold indifference.

Lu Chi was genuinely stunned. His heart pounded, and a dense, tingling itch spread through his body as if he had been electrocuted.

He could feel that Lu Qingyun was extremely angry right now, so much so that he disdained to maintain his pretense, revealing his true self.

A strange feeling crossed Lu Chi’s heart. For some reason, he couldn’t muster any anger. He didn’t even feel the pain in his leg anymore. He cleared his throat awkwardly, lowered his head, and limped to put the chair back in its original place.

He watched Lu Qingyun’s expression out of the corner of his eye, unconsciously touching his nose. After neatly arranging the chair, he couldn’t think of anything else to do.

    “Ahem, well…”

“Get lost.” Lu Qingyun sat back down in the chair, not sparing him a single glance.

Lu Chi’s mouth twitched. He swallowed whatever he was about to say and walked out in surrender.

    “I… I’m getting lost?”

No one answered. Lu Qingyun sat in the chair, his back perfectly straight, his face tight. Lu Chi, having been rebuffed, retreated dejectedly.

Lu Chi slammed the door shut, thinking that he would never come back. He wouldn’t keep chasing after someone who treated him like this.

As the Dormitory door closed, Lu Qingyun’s body slumped slightly, and he let out a soft sigh. The tension on his face vanished, replaced by a grimace. His face scrunched up.

“Hiss…” Lu Qingyun lifted his foot and tapped the ground a few times, trying to make the pain dissipate quickly.

Ah, ah, ah, it hurts so much.

Lu Qingyun screamed internally. He thought, he shouldn’t have kicked the chair; it hurt like hell.

Lu Qingyun remained still for a while, then stood up and limped to retrieve the medicine he had used last time.

He opened the cabinet, found the first-aid kit, located the previous medicine along the edge, grabbed it, and limped back to his chair.

Lu Qingyun placed the medicine on the desk, then slowly took off his shoes and socks. Sure enough, his toes were red and showed signs of swelling. The boy looked down, cursing Lu Chi thoroughly in his mind.

Just as he was about to pick up the medicine and start applying it, the Dormitory door moved. Lu Qingyun looked up.

“Ahem… I bought some wound medicine.” Lu Chi pushed the door open slightly, poked his head in, and revealed the medicine in his hand, adopting a posture of seeking peace.

Lu Qingyun squinted, a look of confusion flashing across his face. He hadn’t expected this, as Lu Chi usually had a volatile temper, yet this time he wasn’t angry and was actively seeking reconciliation.

He closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and tried to make his tone sound normal before speaking, “No need. You can leave.”

Lu Chi’s expression didn’t change. Hearing Lu Qingyun’s reply was like hearing an imperial decree; instead of leaving, he immediately squeezed inside.

His knee hadn’t been treated yet; the prominent area was red and bleeding slightly. Lu Qingyun looked down, comparing it to his own foot, and nodded imperceptibly, feeling slightly satisfied.

Lu Chi cautiously took a few steps forward and, hearing no objection, straightened up and became bolder, walking up to Lu Qingyun.

His gaze fell on the injured foot. Several toes were red and already starting to swell. Lu Chi frowned, feeling a surge of guilt.

He placed the medicine he had brought on the desk, knelt on one knee, leaned forward, let out a soft breath, and slowly said, “I knew it.”

Lu Qingyun drew his neck back, shocked by the action, and hearing him say that only made him more confused.

Lu Chi didn’t offer further explanation. He reached out, grasped Lu Qingyun’s ankle, and placed the Omega’s foot on his thigh. The boy tried to pull back, but Lu Chi tightened his grip and frowned, saying, “Don’t move.”

He took a cotton swab, dipped it in ointment, and gently applied it to the swollen area, instructing as he did so, “Next time you want to… ahem, punish someone, can you consider the method first? At least don’t hurt yourself.”

Not hearing Lu Qingyun speak, he slowly added, “At least if you’re angry at me, just tell me directly. I’ll…”

He suddenly snapped back to reality at that point, his eyes flickering. He cursed himself internally for being so pathetic. What was he thinking just now? He was about to hit himself. It was ridiculous.

Lu Chi tightened his lips and said no more, applying the ointment with very gentle movements.

Lu Qingyun stared blankly at the hair of the person in front of him, his eyelashes lowered, concealing the emotions in his eyes. He remained silent for a long time.

Lu Chi screwed the cap back onto the ointment, stood up, and pulled a packet of cotton swabs from his pocket, placing them on Lu Qingyun’s desk along with the ointment.

Standing straight, he felt awkward without anything in his hands. He stood stiffly and instructed softly, “The doctor said applying it three times a day helps it heal faster. Remember to apply it.”

Seeing that Lu Qingyun still hadn’t responded, Lu Chi, already feeling constrained, rubbed his hands nervously, growing anxious. He bent slightly, trying to see Lu Qingyun’s expression.

“Are you still angry? Don’t stop talking… hmm?”

Lu Chi couldn’t think of anything else to say. After a moment of silence, he suddenly thought of something and confessed honestly, “I shouldn’t have done that… Hey, I won’t do that again.”

Lu Qingyun heard what he wanted to hear. He slowly raised his eyes, looked at Lu Chi, and said, “If you really want to apologize, you can just say sorry.”

Lu Chi opened his mouth and obediently said, “I’m sorry.”

Lu Qingyun nodded, turned his body forward, and tapped the desk lightly with his hand. Sure enough, after two taps, Lu Chi spoke again.

The man adjusted his posture, trying to see Lu Qingyun’s expression. He tentatively asked again, “Then you’re not angry anymore?”

    “Mm.”

Lu Chi hesitated for a moment, a look of difficulty on his face. He had never tried to coax someone like this before, and he felt like everything he said was wrong. Lu Qingyun didn’t look like he had calmed down either.

The two fell into a temporary stalemate.

Meanwhile, in an alley outside the school, Ji Chengyu followed Lu Qingyun’s directions, taking two left turns, and successfully saw a wall.

There was nothing special about the wall; it was bare, though there were a few advertisements pasted on it. Some had been torn off, leaving remnants. Ji Chengyu found a complete one and walked over to read it.

“XXX Hospital in A City. Solving men’s problems is no problem. Focus on maintenance, early check-ups, early treatment…”
