Chapter 18 The Omega of the Aristocratic School 18 “He touched me…”

#Help, who actually has Lu Qingyun’s contact information? Offering a reward#

OP: Last time, who told me Lu Qingyun adds rich people? I went and asked today, and he doesn’t add anyone at all, okay? It didn’t even work when I introduced myself. Sigh.

    1L

Maybe your family isn’t good enough; he looks down on you.

    2L

Same feeling. Do you think he adds just anyone? Not everyone can get close to him. It’s already good that you managed to talk to him, OP.

    3L

Probably only a few people have it. I saw him using a flip phone before, and he only changed it recently. He probably hasn’t added many people.

    4L

I envy his roommates. They get close contact every day. Maybe they secretly kiss the school beauty while he’s sleeping every day. I want to be the school beauty’s roommate too. I really want to see the school beauty’s sleeping face. I’d even be willing to wash his clothes.

    5L

Wow, the person above really dares to dream. I want to see his sleeping face too. This Omega is a god. My current screensaver is still that popular photo of him eating from before. The baby’s lips are red when he eats, super cute.

    6L

    Please send me the photo!!!

    7L

It’s still in that old group. I’ll DM you.

    OP replies to 4L:

Get lost, that’s disgusting. Deleted and blocked.

    OP replies to 5L:

    I want one too.

    8L

Heh, double standards, OP. But I’m staking out here for the school beauty’s contact info.

In an event hall in A City.

The grand ballroom was two stories high, with chandeliers suspended high above. As soon as the sky brightened, the hall was fully illuminated. The sweeping staircase was draped with flowers, and a carpet was laid in the center of the hall, with tables and chairs arranged on both sides.

The entrance became restless early in the morning. A group of men in suits stepped through the door after presenting their invitations and verifying their identities.

Ji Chengyu wore a dark blue suit, the simplest style draped over him. One hand was in his pocket, the other held a wine glass, and he occasionally glanced toward the entrance.

He sometimes went over to greet guests. He had to exchange pleasantries with families of comparable influence. For young masters of their status, while it was ostensibly a birthday banquet, it was actually a business negotiation, or simply a basic exchange of greetings after a period of absence, to ensure smooth business communication in the future.

Another commotion erupted at the entrance, and everyone in the banquet hall instinctively turned to look. Ji Chengyu turned his head too.

A slightly older man walked in through the doorway. Although his face bore the marks of time, the man still carried a strong aura of a superior in his every move. A slight smile brought intense pressure. Following behind him was a young man in a well-fitted black suit, though his leg seemed slightly off as he walked.

Ji Chengyu raised his wine glass and slowly walked over, appropriately showing the deference of a junior.

    “Uncle Lu, you’ve arrived.”

The people who entered were Lu Chi and his father, Lu Yanming. Lu Yanming’s eyes swept over Ji Chengyu. After a moment, he lowered his hand, and the butler behind him bowed and stepped forward to present the gift.

As Ji Chengyu accepted the gift, his eyes met Lu Chi’s, who was observing him. He took the gift, his gaze falling on Lu Chi’s leg. When he looked up again, both men were expressionless, merely nodding politely.

After ushering the two in, Ji Chengyu rubbed his glass, feeling a pang of worry. He hadn’t expected Lu Yanming to attend.

Lu Yanming had always been strict with Lu Chi, often resorting to beatings and scolding, and demanding extreme rigor in all aspects of his life. Not only work, but even studies and relationships were controlled, cultivating him entirely to be his successor.

However, he wasn’t worried about himself. He was thinking that Lu Qingyun would also be coming, and Lu Chi harbored feelings for Lu Qingyun. He was afraid Lu Chi would be foolish enough to reveal them, leading Lu Yanming to target Lu Qingyun.

He had once heard his father talk about Lu Yanming’s expectations for Lu Chi.

He said, “Lu Chi, he must be like me. I have planned everything for him, including marriage alliances and his career.”

More people arrived throughout the morning. Ji Chengyu greeted Xie Jin and Gu Hanshi, then stood boredly by the door.

He checked the time, wondering if Lu Qingyun had forgotten. He was about to take out his phone to remind him.

    “Sir, please show your invitation.”

Ji Chengyu looked over, sensing something. No one had entered the banquet hall for a while, and everyone inside was curious about the latest arrival, shaking their wine glasses and looking toward the entrance.

The young man who entered wore a light blue suit that fit him perfectly, neatly covering his body. His dark hair moved slightly with his steps. The boy was fair-skinned, his slender neck exposed. There was no trace of panic on his face from being watched; he seemed accustomed to the attention. His composed expression made everyone wonder:

    Whose young master is this?

The fake young master, Lu Qingyun, walked quickly toward Ji Chengyu with a straight face, his mouth opening and closing awkwardly.

“Sorry, I woke up late.” His peripheral vision caught the crowd still watching him. He moved slightly to the side and lowered his voice to ask, “Has it started already?”

Ji Chengyu straightened up, subtly shielding him, took the gift from his hand, and reassured him, “No, you’re right on time.”

Ji Chengyu led Lu Qingyun to a seat and sat down beside him. He then raised his wine glass and announced, “Thank you all for coming to celebrate my birthday today. I’ll drink this, and I hope everyone has fun.”

Everyone cooperated, raising their glasses and drinking. The hall instantly became noisy, and several young people gathered together to chat.

Lu Qingyun looked left and right, his eyes widening slightly. Finally, the corners of his mouth twitched, and he withdrew his gaze.

So, a lavish birthday banquet was just this. It was different from what he had imagined.

His eyes fell on the wine glass in front of him. He reached out to pick it up and gently patted Ji Chengyu, who was standing beside him.

Once Ji Chengyu smoothly sat down, Lu Qingyun imitated the way Ji Chengyu had toasted just now, raising his glass and speaking calmly, “Happy birthday to you.”

Lu Qingyun tilted his head back and drank it down. A burning sensation rose in his throat. He forcibly endured it, his small face flushed red. He pouted in dissatisfaction, pushing the empty wine glass away with a hint of distaste.

Seeing him like this, Ji Chengyu’s Adam’s apple bobbed, and he suddenly laughed out loud.

The man’s eyes brightened with a hint of surprise. So, all it took was drinking to make Lu Qingyun show an expression different from his usual one. He was too adorable.

A hint of cunning flashed across Ji Chengyu’s face. He leaned closer to Lu Qingyun and slowly spoke, “Brother, your face is red.”

The distance between the two instantly closed, leaving only a small gap. Looking through that gap, one could see a resentful pair of eyes. Lu Chi, sitting directly opposite their table, witnessed the scene.

He clenched his teeth, forcing himself to endure, imagining that the person sitting so close to Lu Qingyun was himself.

“Lu Chi, what are you looking at?”

A deep, authoritative voice sounded by his ear. Lu Yanming was looking at him sideways. Lu Chi quickly snapped back to attention and turned to face his father.

He explained, “Nothing, I just saw someone from the same school.”

Lu Yanming narrowed his eyes, scrutinizing him, rubbing his wine glass. After a moment, his expression softened slightly, and he lectured him sternly, “Are there few people from the same school in this hall? These are all your competitors.”

Lu Chi closed his eyes, clenching and then releasing his hand. He said slowly, “I know.”

“If you know, then go socialize,” Lu Yanming scolded discontentedly. As Lu Chi stood up, he added, “Don’t be so foolish that you get tricked twice without realizing it.”

He was referring to the Ji family. Lu Chi naturally knew what he meant. He didn’t argue and walked toward Ji Chengyu’s side.

Lu Qingyun’s table was already surrounded by many people, mostly boys of similar age. Several of them were laughing and leaning toward Lu Qingyun, while Ji Chengyu sat on the side, busy fending off others.

One of the boys, using the excuse of joking, boldly placed his arm around Lu Qingyun’s neck, leaning half his body closer. Seeing that Lu Qingyun didn’t resist, his fingers subtly probed around the collar.

Lu Qingyun’s face was slightly flushed, his head dizzy. He only felt a hidden heat and an exciting urge to break through his limits in his mind. He was somewhat drunk and naturally didn’t notice the person pressing against him.

He just felt that the large banquet hall was surprisingly crowded. Why were there people all around him, and why were his legs constantly being brushed against?

Seeing this, the boy became bolder, pressing against Lu Qingyun. His mouth was almost touching the Omega’s face, and one arm lightly brushed his neck.

The boy suddenly let out a fierce scream. His hand had been twisted halfway, yanked and held high above his head.

The boy looked up, ready to explode in anger, but his pupils shrank when he met the fierce, menacing face. He instantly quieted down.

“Brother Xie, it hurts, hurts, hurts…”

Xie Jin grabbed his hand and pressed him against the table, pouring wine over the boy’s head. He said coldly, “Touch him again, and you won’t need this hand anymore.”

“Brother Xie, Brother Xie, I won’t dare again.”

Xie Jin kicked him, sending him sprawling to the floor. “Scram.”

The boy immediately got up and ran out. For a moment, no one spoke in the banquet hall. Everyone was staring at the commotion. When they saw it was Young Master Xie, they all understood somewhat.

Gu Hanshi, who was standing by the door, stopped, hesitated for a moment, and then walked out of the banquet hall.

Xie Jin sat down next to Lu Qingyun with a cold face, waving a hand in front of Lu Qingyun’s dazed eyes.

    “Scared silly?”

Lu Qingyun’s gaze was somewhat scattered. His eyes slowly followed Xie Jin’s hand.

Seeing this, Xie Jin placed the back of his hand against Lu Qingyun’s face. It was slightly warm but not hot. He felt relieved and couldn’t help but chuckle softly.

    “One-cup wonder, huh? Drunk?”

Xie Jin clicked his tongue lightly, pulling the person into his arms. Just as he was about to stand up, he noticed Ji Chengyu on the other side. He paused his movement and said casually, “Oh, I just saw you.”

He flashed a roguish smile, lifting Lu Qingyun’s legs as well, grabbing the Omega’s arm and placing it over his own shoulder. He explained smoothly, “I didn’t intentionally mess up your plans.”

He spoke words that suggested apology, yet there was no trace of embarrassment in his tone. Ji Chengyu didn’t mind that, though. His gaze shifted to the hand Xie Jin used to hold Lu Qingyun, and his face darkened.

“What do you mean by this?”

Xie Jin let him stare, but didn’t loosen his grip at all. The young man tilted his head back, looking down at Ji Chengyu in a condescending manner, and spoke as if emphasizing something.

“He touched my person. He deserved the beating.”
