Chapter 9: The Omega at the Noble School 9 “Did he force…”

The Omega’s voice, tinged with confusion, came through, “How do I exit this?”

Lu Qingyun tilted his phone and turned his head to look up at Bai Zhengchu.

His eyes were round, filled with a mix of confusion and curiosity.

Bai Zhengchu was startled, having not expected this situation, but he quickly bent down and tapped the screen to help Lu Qingyun exit the application.

Lu Qingyun watched his actions and nodded, taking back his phone and typing Lu Chi into the forum’s homepage.

A blank page popped up, displaying: No corresponding content found.

Lu Qingyun frowned in dissatisfaction, shifting his gaze from the phone. He asked without much hope, “Do you have Lu Chi’s contact information?”

Bai Zhengchu’s first thought was that Lu Qingyun had been bullied again. He pressed his lips together, thought for a moment, and decided to go all out; he had to help Lu Qingyun.

Bai Zhengchu put on a serious expression and asked earnestly, “Did he force you to look for him?”

Lu Qingyun said coolly, “He owes me a phone.”

    “Ah?”

Bai Zhengchu’s eyes widened as if he had heard something unbelievable. He froze for a long time, unable to react.

    What was going on?

In the end, Lu Qingyun got Lu Chi’s phone number from Wen Zhiyu. He entered it, pressed dial, and walked toward the balcony.

The phone rang until it was about to hang up before it was answered. The person on the other end sounded impatient, their voice hoarse, likely having just woken up. “Who is it?”

On the other side of the phone, Lu Chi was annoyed at being woken up. A clear, soft voice came through the phone, “It’s me, Lu Qingyun.”

Lu Chi woke up a little, sat up, picked up the water glass beside him, took a sip, and then swirled the water in the glass.

He was contemplating Lu Qingyun’s intention. Could it be that he was calling to check on him after seeing how miserable he was last time? Thinking this, Lu Chi couldn’t help but let the corner of his mouth lift slightly.

But the next second, the words coming from the phone materialized, forcefully pulling his smile down.

“When are you going to return my phone?”

Lu Chi clicked his tongue, so angry he wanted to laugh. He placed the cup heavily on the table, intending to use the sound to warn Lu Qingyun, but the person on the other end seemed intent on opposing him.

“You don’t need to buy a particularly good one, just one that works is fine.”

    “…”

Not a single word of concern, and the first thing he asked for was the phone!

Lu Chi endured it for a moment but couldn’t hold back, letting out a soft scoff. “Return it to you? That broken antique bumped into me itself. When did I ever say I would return it?”

Hearing no sound from the other end, Lu Chi gritted his teeth and added, “And don’t call me again about these miscellaneous things…”

Lu Chi deliberately emphasized the words miscellaneous things, then immediately hung up and tossed the phone aside.

Lu Qingyun held the phone away from his ear, disdainfully lowering the volume. His eyes darkened, and he cursed inwardly, calling him a liar.

He returned to the Dormitory with a straight face, handed the phone back to Bai Zhengchu, and then quickly walked out of the Dormitory.

The two people left in the Dormitory exchanged glances.

On the other side, Lu Chi picked up his phone, checked that no one had called back, and put it down. After a pause, he picked it up again and checked.

“Tsk, he really didn’t call back…”

He picked up the phone one more time, still no calls. He sent a message to his butler, “Has the phone I reserved last time not been delivered yet?”

When Lu Qingyun walked out of the Dormitory, the weather was hot. The boy was actually still there. Lu Qingyun strode toward him.

Ji Chengyu heard the footsteps and a smirk curled his lips, a dark, triumphant glint appearing in his eyes.

He had been leaning against the tree, but seeing Lu Qingyun, he stood much straighter, smiling as he said, “Brother, you’re back.”

Lu Qingyun couldn’t be bothered to waste time with him and got straight to the point, “Does your family have a feud with the Lu family?”

That question made Ji Chengyu pause, then he started laughing, genuinely sighing, “Brother, you really are smart.”

Lu Qingyun rolled his eyes internally, wanting to tell him to stop pretending, but at the moment, he only felt disgust toward Lu Chi. He was not one to tolerate being slighted; he had to seek revenge immediately.

Lu Qingyun didn’t want to play games with the person in front of him and spoke more directly, “You were watching the surveillance footage back then, weren’t you?”

When he was locked in that room, Lu Qingyun was sure he saw surveillance cameras. Then, as soon as he returned to school, this inexplicable person appeared. This person accurately mentioned the bite mark on his neck. Logically, it should have faded somewhat today, and clothing would cover part of it, making it less obvious. Lu Qingyun hadn’t been completely certain, but then this person inexplicably mentioned that he could come to him if he needed anything.

Coupled with the forum he had just seen, where people only dared to use abbreviations when discussing the person in front of him, it suggested this person must also be very powerful, which perfectly connected him to the kidnapping incident.

Ji Chengyu smiled, deciding to drop the act. He stopped speaking in a forced, high-pitched voice and reverted to his original tone.

“Yes, it was me. I saw…”

Sensing Lu Qingyun’s piercing gaze, he stopped, leaving his sentence unfinished.

The temperature outside was too high, making people feel extremely hot. Lu Qingyun reached out, pinched a corner of the boy’s clothing, and pulled him toward the shade.

Ji Chengyu looked down, feeling a little uncomfortable. He had never been pulled like this before, and no one had ever dared.

His gaze shifted to Lu Qingyun, finding the Omega’s demeanor unique. He had seemed like the fragile type when viewed through the surveillance, but he never expected him to not only dare to hit him but also casually drag him. Interesting. No wonder Lu Chi wanted to mark him. Ji Chengyu sensed a greater degree of interest.

Once they reached the shade, Lu Qingyun released his hand. Feeling the person’s gaze still fixed on his hand, a sense of revulsion arose. He forced himself to speak, “So, what is your purpose in approaching me?”
