Chapter 11 Part 2
by BLReadsAs Park Geon-u apologized, Lee Jun replied that it was okay, but couldn’t hide his complex expression as he looked down at his pants. Thinking it would be better to change quickly, Lee Jun was about to put the mop away when a restless Park Geon-u suddenly shouted from the spot.
“Give me those pants. I’ll take them to the laundry, no. I’ll wash them myself.”
“It’s fine. You don’t have to go that far.”
Lee Jun said he didn’t need to do all that, but Park Geon-u was unyielding. He even followed Lee Jun into the staff room where he was going to change clothes.
“Let’s change. Take off your pants.”
“I said it’s fine, really?”
“Hurry up.”
As Park Geon-u insisted he hand over the wet jeans quickly, the other part-timers watching found it amusing and laughed.
“You won’t be able to wear those pants until you go home, so I’ll give you different clothes. Wear those when you leave.”
Park Geon-u, holding the staff room door tightly to prevent it from closing, spoke quickly. Lee Jun was about to say it was truly fine, understanding that he wouldn’t get his pants back today, but Park Geon-u abruptly slammed the door shut.
“He doesn’t listen to a word I say.”
Completely doing as he pleased. Lee Jun shook his head and changed into his uniform.
After work, Lee Jun, having changed into the clothes Park Geon-u gave him, left the Pasta Restaurant. Park Geon-u, who had come out to see him off, gave Lee Jun a quick once-over. The narrow area in front of the building also served as a smoking section, so he planned to smoke a cigarette after Lee Jun left.
Park Geon-u fiddled with the cigarette he had in his pocket, scanning Lee Jun. It was unfortunate that his pants got wet from the mop, but the clothes he’d given Lee Jun suited him so well that it was a pleasure to see.
He had only given him beige cotton pants, but they didn’t match his top. So, he had also given him a shirt and a loose-fitting grey Cardigan to wear, making him look like a freshman who had just entered university.
“Seriously, that face is unfair.”
“What is?”
As Lee Jun turned back, his brown eyes met Park Geon-u’s, who shook his head as if it were nothing. Was that face really two years younger than his? Lee Jun looked even younger than Kim Min-cheol, the youngest working at the Pasta Restaurant right now.
His smooth skin, small face, curved eyes, and full lips made one forget Lee Jun’s age even more. When Lee Jun’s unique aura was added to that, he became a truly special person.
Quite a few people were captivated by that aura. Some of them couldn’t hide their interest, but none succeeded. Looking at that, it seemed Lee Jun had no thoughts about romance at all.
Indeed, would he even have the leisure to consider anything else?
“Do you know that you’re a very neat, upright, and yet charismatic man?”
Lee Jun, who had just been looking at his phone, turned to Park Geon-u with a bewildered expression. Though he didn’t say it, his face suggested he was internally asking “Are you crazy?” multiple times.
“Lee Jun.”
Park Geon-u lightly stroked Lee Jun’s hair, just brushing it. As far as Park Geon-u knew, he was the only one who frequently had physical contact with Lee Jun. Because Lee Jun rarely let anyone close, almost no one touched him.
“Let’s go eat with me.”
He too had feelings for Lee Jun, but he was holding back, fearing it might jeopardize their current relationship.
“Uh…”
At Park Geon-u’s suggestion, Lee Jun uncharacteristically trailed off. The message he had received from Chaeheon that morning felt like a thorn in his throat.
