    Chapter Index

At Chaeheon’s mumble, Lee Jun rubbed his chest once and then nodded.

He felt nauseous and hot. Considering his usual alcohol tolerance, his body merely felt hot right now, but he couldn’t afford to make any verbal mistakes.

    “I need the bathroom…”

Intending to at least wash his hands in the bathroom, Lee Jun stood up but stumbled forward after only a few steps. What was that? Before he could even register the situation, a firm arm wrapped around his waist, providing strong support for his body.

Lee Jun leaned into that arm and let out a soft sigh. The embrace of the man he had tried so hard to push away and avoid was now becoming a source of reliance. Lee Jun’s self-control was rapidly succumbing to the alcohol.

    “This… is dangerous, isn’t it?”

As Chaeheon’s voice reached him, Lee Jun’s vision blurred.

Chaeheon watched Lee Jun, who was sitting quietly with his back against the wall.

Other than the loss of strength in his body, his usually straight posture and walk noticeably diminished the moment he got home and leaned against the sofa. Lee Jun’s expression, as he leaned his back and head against the soft yet firm sofa, completely relaxed.

His eyes were cast down, his long eyelashes half-hid his pupils, and cast long shadows beneath his eyes. His prominent nose bridge, when Lee Jun kept his mouth closed, created an unapproachable aura, but perhaps due to his fair skin, from a different angle, it only appeared gently raised.

Most noticeably, what was most different now was that his lips, which were always firmly closed in a straight line, were now weakly parted, exhaling sweet breaths.

    “Senior.”

Lee Jun, who had been staring blankly at the wall, slowly turned his gaze a beat late at the sound of his name being called. As his eyes met Chaeheon’s, Lee Jun’s eyes formed a soft curve.

    “Hm?”

    “…”

    “Why~?”

Lee Jun’s mouth, as he trailed off his words, was softly relaxed. His eyes, which always seemed indifferent, now held a warm light, and his gaze, which used to be like a wary cat’s, was now completely soft.

His incredibly gentle tone and his beaming smile suited him perfectly. Ever since he got drunk, it felt as though he had found the expression that truly suited his face. In other words, it was as if he had returned to the Lee Jun from when they were dating…

“Chaeheon. Why did you call me?”

When Chaeheon didn’t speak, Lee Jun smiled and urged him on. Even though he was drunk, his pronunciation was clear. A stranger seeing him wouldn’t even know he was intoxicated.

Chaeheon pulled a chair in front of Lee Jun and sat down facing the backrest. Although the backrest separated Lee Jun and himself, his heart had already embraced him tightly.

    “You really are drunk.”

Chaeheon stroked his lean face, then rested his chin, naturally leaning his upper body forward to gaze intently at Lee Jun’s face.

“The Senior I knew used to be like this.”

Who would have thought I’d see that again? Lee Jun’s usual drunken habits weren’t like this.

“Why did the person who used to quietly sleep become like this?”

    “Chaeheon?”

For the first time in a long time, hearing his name with such a soft resonance, Chaeheon buried his face in his arm, then lifted it.

“Ah, seriously. Lee Jun’s voice is still so good.”

Chaeheon smiled at the voice that had shed all its thorns of wariness towards him. And resting his arms on the chair, with his chin in his hands, he looked at Lee Jun.

    “This wasn’t the original plan…”

The plan to get him drunk and extract the truth that couldn’t be revealed over the weekend…

    “Well, what does it matter?”

    Chaeheon smiled brightly.
