Chapter 20
by BLReadsThere were plenty of opportunities anyway. Chaeheon, seeing Lee Jun extend his red tongue to moisten his lips, asked, “Do you want some water?” “Yes. I wanted some anyway. Thank you.”
Chaeheon’s hand, reaching for the water bottle, stopped in mid-air. It was a greeting with a clear difference in the level of gratitude and emotion compared to the one he’d heard that morning. “Why didn’t you greet me like that this morning?” Chaeheon shook his head, recalling the cute moment when Lee Jun’s thoughts were completely transparent. Lee Jun’s usually indifferent expression, now softened by alcohol, was more than perfect.
Lee Jun tilted his head when Chaeheon didn’t hand him the water even after he reached out, then said as if understanding, “Are you going to open it for me?” Chaeheon slowly pulled the water bottle he had been offering back to his chest. Even as he opened the cap himself, he couldn’t shake the strange feeling. Lee Jun took the water, drank it, and then stumbled as he tried to put it on the table, so Chaeheon intercepted the bottle.
Chaeheon, casually placing the bottle on the table without looking, took Lee Jun’s arm and gently guided him back to lean against the sofa. “Aren’t you sleepy?” “Hmm…” Lee Jun’s eyes narrowed, and he covered his face with both hands.
His hands, half a span smaller than Chaeheon’s, weren’t large, but even so, his small face fit perfectly within them. Lee Jun spread his fingers and peeked at Chaeheon through the gaps.
With his eyes mostly covered, his eyes appeared gentle, like a puppy’s. The sight suited him so well that Chaeheon forgot what he was going to say and closed his mouth again. “You know I’m weak to that expression, don’t you?”
“Are you sleepy, Chaeheon?” He was so gentle and even took care of him, leaving Chaeheon flustered and speechless several times. “…No.” “I’m not sleepy either.”
Lee Jun shook his head, though he let out a small yawn. He was trying to say he wasn’t sleepy, matching his previous statement, but his eyes were heavy with sleep.
“I called your house, so just sleep here tonight.” “Here?” “Yes.” “We’re sleeping together?” “Haha.”
Chaeheon let out a dry, awkward laugh. Every single word from Lee Jun was truly gripping him by the throat and shaking him. “You might be saying that because you think we’re dating right now, but that’s a dangerous thing to say.”
Even just standing still, he drew attention, but if he smiled gently… “I’d cling to your pant leg and beg you. To only drink with me and only sleep with me.”
Lee Jun smiled brightly and took Chaeheon’s hand. “Okay. I’ll only drink with you.” “Only with me?” “Yes.” “Only attend classes with me too.” “Yes.” “Only eat meals with me.” “Yes.”
Since Lee Jun agreed to everything he said, Chaeheon found it amusing and kept suggesting other things they should do only together. But his easy agreement, while appealing, also made Chaeheon feel a bit mischievous.
The atmosphere was such that if he asked for the very foundation of his house, Lee Jun would probably say, ‘Alright, if you want it, I’ll give it to you.’ Chaeheon wanted to take advantage of this a little more persistently.
Chaeheon said, his gaze fixed on the spot where Lee Jun’s soft body line, starting from his nape, disappeared beneath his clothes. “Sleeping, too, you’ll only do with me.”
“Huh?” But it seemed even his complete compliance was useless before those words. Lee Jun reacted with a rising inflection in his voice, then stared intently at Chaeheon.
It was said half in jest, but Lee Jun pursed his lips as if deep in thought. It was a conversation that would have simply passed if he had just said “yes,” but when a brake was applied, Chaeheon felt a surge of stubbornness. “That’s not allowed.”
Chaeheon’s jaw dropped. “No, why is everything else allowed but that…” Lee Jun smiled faintly and shook his head. His innocent reaction seemed to say Chaeheon’s shock was none of his business. “Because… we don’t know the future.”
“That’s why I’m asking you to promise.” “Saying you love me, and then when…” Lee Jun’s voice trailed off. Then, as if a thought struck him, he picked up a phone nearby. He turned on the camera’s video function and pointed it at his face.
“What are you doing?” Seeing Lee Jun, who didn’t even seem to know whose phone he was holding, Chaeheon subtly moved closer and sat beside him. His face then appeared on the screen as well.
Lee Jun looked at his face reflected in the camera, then smiled shyly and waved his hand. His innocent smile, waving hello, was being recorded in its entirety. “I don’t believe in ‘forever.’ That’s why I’m capturing this moment.” “Interesting.”
It had been fun to watch since earlier, but now it was exciting to see how far Lee Jun would go. Chaeheon folded his arms, when Lee Jun suddenly grabbed his chin and pulled him forward. Chaeheon, pulled by him and almost resting his chin on Lee Jun’s shoulder, looked at the phone. With both their faces side-by-side, they looked quite affectionate.
“I’m not deleting this.” Chaeheon said, pulling Lee Jun into an embrace and looking at the camera. “So, watch this tomorrow and rethink our relationship.”
He didn’t know how Lee Jun would react when he woke up tomorrow, but this was his chance. “I never wanted to break up with you, Senior, from the very beginning. That’s why I’m pushing for it again. I went to the airport alone several times, determined to forget you out of stubbornness, but I always just came back. I didn’t even want to admit we broke up in the first place, so how am I supposed to just break up? Stop refusing and come back into my arms.”
As Chaeheon tilted his head, urging a response, Lee Jun’s brown eyes moved from the screen to him. At Lee Jun’s steady gaze, Chaeheon turned his head from the phone screen to Lee Jun.
When their eyes met, the small action of him scrunching his nose was adorable. Their faces were as close as the narrowed distance to appear together on one screen.
Lee Jun gazed at Chaeheon’s face, which filled his vision, then opened his mouth. “Do you want to?” “…Lee Jun?” “Do you want to kiss me?”
Lee Jun smiled softly and placed a hand on Chaeheon’s cheek. Lee Jun’s voice, asking again as if echoing a child’s words and sharing emotions, was still soft and sweet.
He hadn’t thought of saying something like this… In fact, since Lee Jun had been so consistently gentle, he hadn’t completely ruled it out either. He just thought that since Lee Jun had questioned him earlier, he wouldn’t necessarily give the answer he wanted, but Chaeheon, unable to sort out his increasingly tangled thoughts, revealed them completely.
Chaeheon’s eyes traveled from Lee Jun’s light brown pupils down to his nose bridge and plump lips. “…Yeah.” “Hmm.”
Questions like whether it was half an attempt to sway Lee Jun or if he truly understood what he was saying were dismissed. “Okay.” Lee Jun chuckled softly, then lightly touched his lips to Chaeheon’s nose and pulled back. “I’ll do it for you.”
I’m going crazy, Chaeheon thought, letting out a single word that expressed his inner turmoil, then caressed the top of Lee Jun’s head. The way his hair seemed to tangle around his fingers only to gently untangle and slip away was exactly like Lee Jun’s personality.
“Do you even know what you’re agreeing to ‘do’?” “I know.” As if wanting to touch him too, Lee Jun ran his hand through Chaeheon’s hair. Then, gently shaking his hand, he ruffled Chaeheon’s hair.
“We’ve done it a lot.” Lee Jun placed a hand on his lips. Lee Jun, acting somewhat puzzled, looked at Chaeheon’s face and murmured, “You still want to do it now, too.”
“…Are you drunk?” He couldn’t help but say this, even knowing Lee Jun was intoxicated. That’s how much Lee Jun’s unexpected reaction was shaking Chaeheon in a different way. “No.”
Perhaps Chaeheon’s breath tickled him, as Lee Jun closed one eye, then slowly opened it when the ticklish sensation subsided. In that short time, Chaeheon’s emotions had settled, and he regained his composure, smiling leisurely. “I said no.”
‘You’re not drunk. So what we’re doing right now isn’t a mistake I’m making alone.’
Chaeheon pressed the save button on the video and put the phone far away. From now on, it was his turn to save it with his own eyes.
Chaeheon buried his nose in Lee Jun’s nape, inhaling his scent. Lee Jun always smelled warm. It was a scent that combined cozy pheromones with his unique body odor, making Chaeheon’s lower abdomen throb.
He rubbed his nose against the smooth skin, but not satisfied, he pressed his lips there. At the soft touch of his lips, Lee Jun flinched his shoulders. “Ugh.”
He hadn’t done anything yet, but as Lee Jun’s body trembled slightly, Chaeheon wrapped his arm around his waist and pulled him close. He held Lee Jun’s body firmly to prevent him from escaping, then opened his mouth. “Ugh… You.”
When Chaeheon sucked strongly on his nape, Lee Jun’s waist trembled subtly. As always, it was a reaction of being overwhelmed by the stimulation he provided. His body was one that tried to endure but couldn’t help but feel it.
Lee Jun put his hand between their touching bodies and pushed Chaeheon’s chest, but it didn’t budge, as if he were pushing a solid wall. “You said you’d do it for me.”
‘I haven’t even really started yet.’ Chaeheon mumbled, his lips pressed against Lee Jun’s neck. Heating his nape with hot breaths was an unconscious, instinctual act. As that movement was fully felt, Lee Jun’s flushed face grew even redder.
Lee Jun’s eyebrows drooped, forming a pitiful expression. “It hurts… and it’s ticklish.” He wasn’t saying he disliked the kiss, but rather begging him not to tickle him.
Lee Jun tilted his head towards the nape of his neck where Chaeheon had buried his face. When Chaeheon lifted his head to look, their lips were closer than he expected. “Senior, you really can’t escape here.”
Chaeheon asked, unable to suppress his laughter. Then Lee Jun, who would normally have turned serious and backed away, wrapped his arms around Chaeheon’s neck and brought their lips together. “Chaeheon.”
