    Chapter Index

If Hae Sol were his child, he could naturally embrace him, but the possibility that he might not be made him hesitate. Even though he believed Lee Jun had no other Alpha besides himself, he couldn’t dismiss the ‘what if’. What if something unpleasant had happened?

“Ah, it would be better if something like that didn’t happen.”

Because if it really did happen, he didn’t know how he would react. He put that thought aside for now and was thinking of something else when someone called out to him.

    “Chaeheon.”

Chaeheon raised his head, looking annoyed. He didn’t welcome the interruption to his thoughts about Lee Jun. Oblivious to Chaeheon’s thoughts, Kim Gyeong-hun approached with a bright smile.

“I was actually about to contact you, but we met like this.”

    “Why?”

“This is the material Lee Jeong-yun and I collected. Please take a look.”

Kim Gyeong-hun held out a USB memory card. Chaeheon looked at it and then accepted it, though he seemed unenthusiastic.

“You could have just sent it by email.”

“I was going to, but it’s better to give it to you in person, right? And we can tell you how much trouble we went through to collect all this.”

    “You can… say that.”

As Chaeheon looked at the memory card, Kim Gyeong-hun subtly edged closer and tactfully began.

“You’re coming on the trip, right? The student department head said we won’t be going overseas. We’re just going somewhere nearby, so it won’t be a burden.”

Going overseas wouldn’t be a burden for Chaeheon. However, as he remained silent, Kim Gyeong-hun elaborated on his own.

“He said this graduating class has unusually low participation and finds things bothersome – no, that they don’t have time – so he suggested we go for a short trip, at least.”

Kim Gyeong-hun tried to correct himself belatedly, but it was already heard. Seeing that Lee Jun also wasn’t interested, there was no excited atmosphere about wanting to go, so Chaeheon casually waved his hand.

    “I’ll think about it.”

If Lee Jun wasn’t going, he had no intention of going either, but he didn’t bother to explain that far.

“Okay. Then please take a look at it and contact me.”

Kim Gyeong-hun bowed as if he had a class and left, leaving Chaeheon alone as before. It was the same situation as earlier, as if cutting out the moment he conversed with Kim Gyeong-hun, but the difference was the memory card in his hand.

“It’s a good excuse to go see him.”

Chaeheon fidgeted with his hand and picked up his phone. Just as he was about to call Lee Jun, someone called him first, and Chaeheon checked the name on the screen.

Since he knew who the caller was, there was no reason to refuse the call.

    “Why?”

    – Why? Let’s meet.

    “When?”

    – When is good for you?

Normally, meeting today wouldn’t have mattered, but something had already come up. Thinking of going to meet Lee Jun, Chaeheon told Han Jeong-min, who was waiting for his answer.

    “Let’s meet on the weekend.”

There was no conversation about why they were meeting. It was always like that when he met Han Jeong-min.

    – Oh, right.

Han Jeong-min, whom he expected to hang up, seemed to have remembered something and spoke up.

    – Do you have someone you’re dating right now?

Unnecessary questions… Chaeheon casually threw out a remark, intending to hang up.

“I have someone I’m going to date.”

All his worries were directed at Lee Jun, and although he hadn’t made any decisions yet, there was one thing that wouldn’t change. That was to somehow make Lee Jun his partner again.
