Chapter 48 Part 2
by BLReadsLee Jun stared at Chaeheon, dumbfounded, then shook his head. It would be fastest to just give in. So, he simply looked at Chaeheon. He saw his half-closed eyes and seemed to admire his long, downcast eyelashes. It was the face he had liked… a handsome face that had now become his standard of beauty.
He hadn’t expected to suddenly be looking at his face like this, but once he accepted it, it wasn’t a bad time.
As he continued to gaze up to Chaeheon’s straight eyebrows, his eyelids lifted, and their eyes met.
Chaeheon’s eyes were so dark that Lee Jun could recall them even with his eyes closed. When they held desire, they felt deep, but otherwise, there were times they sparkled like glass. And… sometimes, when his eyes caught the light, it was like looking into the cosmos.
As Lee Jun continued to stare at Chaeheon, without stopping his burgeoning thoughts, Chaeheon began to speak.
“But… you’re graduating soon. Do I still have to call you Senior then?”
“What do you want?”
Though it seemed like he was beating around the bush, Chaeheon always expressed his feelings directly.
“I’m saying you should think about a title/honorific. Of course, I like calling you ‘Jagi’ the best, but I also like calling you ‘Jun-i hyeong’.”
Lee Jun didn’t understand why such a title/honorific was being brought up at that moment. However, it seemed like an important issue to Chaeheon, who showed no sign of backing down. He frowned deeply, his eyebrows furrowing, and pulled his chair closer.
“And if I absolutely have to choose one of the two…”
Lee Jun’s eyes narrowed.
“Jun-i hyeong.”
Chaeheon’s lips parted, and a soft voice emerged. Lee Jun flinched at the sound of his name being called that way. Seeing this, Chaeheon, perhaps feeling a bit awkward, added an explanation on his own.
“You already use ‘Jagi’ well enough. So, I want to add a title/honorific that distinctly refers to Lee Jun.”
“But why ‘Jun-i hyeong’ and not ‘Lee Jun-i hyeong’?”
“Just… because only I will call you that.”
If he had just thought of this now, he had come up with quite a few reasons in a short time. Curious, Lee Jun couldn’t help but ask.
“When did you start thinking about that?”
“The title/honorific, since Kim Gyeong-hun started calling you Senior. And the reason I want to call you ‘Jun-i hyeong’ is now.”
“You’ve thought a lot in a short time.”
“If you’re impressed, then it’s fine for me to start calling you ‘Jun-i hyeong’ from now on.”
Catching Chaeheon’s questioning gaze, Lee Jun suddenly felt an urge to answer him with a kiss.
Of course, he shouldn’t, but the impulsive thought that sprang to mind was closer to an instinct that didn’t suit his situation.
“If you’re happy, it’d be even better if you returned the favor with a kiss.”
Chaeheon, knowing where Lee Jun’s gaze was directed, urged him on with a husky voice.
Chaeheon, who absolutely didn’t want to lose this opportunity he had seized, waited for Lee Jun to approach.
Indeed, as Chaeheon confirmed Lee Jun slowly closing the distance, he gripped the chair tightly, resisting the urge to pull him closer. In this atmosphere, he absolutely wanted to receive the kiss Lee Jun was about to initiate.
“You’re still here. Here’s the extension…”
Kim Gyeong-hun, who had just entered as the door burst open, realized the situation belatedly and, unable to hide his embarrassment, stumbled backward.
“I’m sorry.”
Even with the apology that came before the door closed, Lee Jun couldn’t move.
