Chapter 6 Part 2
by BLReadsChaeheon called Lee Jun. The moment Lee Jun pretended not to hear and turned his head, a long leg rose to about midway up the wall.
“I haven’t finished speaking yet.”
“About that man who ran away earlier…”
“What about my secret?”
“…What?”
“It might not matter to you, Senior, whether your Omega secondary gender is revealed or not, but it’s different for me.”
So, this is why he brought up secondary genders.
“As you know, I’m a bit… secretive, aren’t I?”
Chaeheon, a university student from a moderately well-off middle-class family, about whom little was known other than his Alpha secondary gender, seemed reluctant to reveal his involvement in the underworld.
Indeed, Lee Jun himself was considerably surprised by Chaeheon at that moment. He had never expected such a secret.
“I won’t tell.”
“How can I believe that?”
“There’s no one I would tell.”
Lee Jun let out a small sigh.
“That doesn’t mean there’s no way to leak my secret.”
He could post it on the school website or tell the professors. Lee Jun hadn’t even thought of that, but Chaeheon was rattling off possibilities.
“I said I wouldn’t do it!”
“How can I believe you?”
He was about to ask Chaeheon to lower his leg, saying he wouldn’t tell, but Chaeheon’s downcast eyes subtly changed.
“Looking at you like this, doesn’t it remind you of the old days?”
Chaeheon’s contemplation of Lee Jun’s face continued. It had been a very long time since he had looked at Lee Jun’s face this closely. This was especially true because Lee Jun rarely gave him a chance to get close. At such a close distance, where he could even see Lee Jun’s eyelashes trembling, Chaeheon felt an indescribable satisfaction.
“I’ll give you a chance to keep my secret.”
Chaeheon turned his head to the side, and their gazes, which had been meeting, shifted away, but strangely, Lee Jun’s lips felt hot. Lee Jun was afraid to ask why he was looking at his lips. Strangely, Chaeheon’s changed atmosphere felt only dangerous. Moreover, saying such a thing felt like throwing a spark into the fire.
“Just get back together with me.”
It was a condition that completely disregarded Lee Jun’s feelings.
“I’ve come all this way, and I don’t want to leave without any gain.”
His casually thrown words pressed heavily on Lee Jun’s heart. With what emotions had he broken up with him? He couldn’t just get back together like it was a joke.
“Think carefully. I’m better than any other Alpha here, aren’t I?”
Chaeheon leaned his upper body even closer to Lee Jun.
“I’m the only one who truly knows Senior.”
No, that’s not true… There was so much he didn’t know about himself, but no words came out.
“For your information, I’m not giving Senior a choice. Doing as I say will be the way to resolve everything that happened here.”
How heartless. He was so easily crushing all his efforts to push him away.
“Don’t frown like that. What does that make me, the one confessing?”
“Confessing… you mean?”
“Then it’s not?”
Chaeheon asked back.
“I still have feelings for Senior, so I’m trying to resolve this situation properly. Can’t you see my pure devotion?”
“How could that be…”
Lee Jun raised his voice in exasperation, then forced his mouth shut. It all made no sense, but he also couldn’t definitively say no.
The conversation was too frustrating. He just wanted to ignore everything. Lee Jun turned his head and looked at the exit. If only Chaeheon’s leg weren’t blocking him, he could have run.
Just then, Chaeheon’s lips, drawing close to his ear, brushed against his earlobe, and Lee Jun stiffened. He should push him away, but he couldn’t, so Chaeheon’s whisper tickled Lee Jun’s ear.
“Please accept my confession.”
