Chapter 65 Part 2
by BLReads“I heard it through the grapevine.”
“Ah…”
Lee Jun looked even more bewildered by Kim Gyeong-hun’s naive reaction, as if realizing there was more to it.
That’s it?
Couldn’t he at least ask how he heard it, or what was even happening?
“That’s why I like Kim Gyeong-hun. He doesn’t bother digging into things that will become known eventually anyway.”
Chaeheon smirked, understanding the meaning of Lee Jun’s gaze. Kim Gyeong-hun was startled by his sudden confession, then cleared his throat, his face flushed.
“I like Chaeheon, too.”
And when he even gave that shy answer, Lee Jun briefly regretted letting Kim Gyeong-hun get close.
Before Lee Jun could straighten up as the professor arrived, Chaeheon muttered,
“A very quiet cafe would be good. I have a lot to say.”
The plan to go to the campus cafe was changed.
After class, Lee Jun stood in front of the main building and stared strangely at Chaeheon, who wasn’t moving.
“Why are you just standing there?”
“I’m waiting.”
Lee Jun still looked puzzled by Chaeheon’s words as he looked at his phone. Class was over, they should just go to the cafe, what was there to wait for?
Even the students who had been in class earlier were all out, so quite a few eyes were now on them.
“Why?”
“I didn’t bring my car.”
As if he’d received the call he was waiting for, Chaeheon opened and closed a message window on his phone, then put it in his pocket.
“Someone you’ve seen a few times will come pick us up. We’re going to a cafe that’s a bit further away.”
Chaeheon paused after saying that, then continued,
“I think he’ll probably accompany us often when we go to places that are a bit of a distance from now on…”
Before Chaeheon could finish speaking, a black sedan slid to a stop in front of them. Even with sunglasses on, it was immediately clear who stepped out of the car. He was the man with the distinctive scar on his neck rather than his face. The man they had met at Club IN, the one who had protected Haein at the motel.
They called him a Bodyguard, but…
“Sorry for the sudden request.”
“Not at all.”
The man opened the back door and waited, so Chaeheon took Lee Jun’s hand and walked over. He then pushed Lee Jun in as if telling him to get in first, and Lee Jun awkwardly got in.
Before Lee Jun could fully slide his rear into the seat, Chaeheon pushed himself in, causing their bodies to bump several times.
“Wait, stop pushing.”
“Hyung, have you lost your touch after only riding in the passenger seat all this time? I can’t sit unless you move further in.”
“I’ll go in, just wait a bit before getting in yourself.”
Lee Jun grumbled as if asking if there was any need to push in so urgently, but still moved to avoid Chaeheon. It seemed like he was doing this on purpose now.
Once settled, Lee Jun looked at Chaeheon beside him with an incredulous gaze. Then, just before the door closed, he made eye contact with a seemingly utterly surprised Kim Gyeong-hun.
“Ah…”
Now that he’d seen him get into such a luxurious car, what would he be thinking?
“Don’t worry. He’ll just think I’m rich.”
As Lee Jun froze like ice, Chaeheon turned to him and smiled sweetly.
“You really…”
It seems like you have no intention of hiding anything anymore, do you?
